Great hospitality, wonderful food, good wines. Basic but immaculately clean lodging. Was exactly what we were hoping for, and absolutely as advertised. Guided fishing was fabulous. Thanks Mark, Debbie, & Rick!

Our host Mark Lane knew what three ladies coming to Melrose wanted, and made ever effort to accomodate our needs. While appreciating what the area provides for fly fishing ,we opted to book a field trip for bird watching. Our guide Terry was knowledgeable, amusing and gave us a trip to remember. If you want to find a retreat to...

Just spent five nights at GWI. Me and four friends fished for four days and had the entire place to ourselves. The owner Mark Lane was the best. He is truly a wonderful host. Mark set us up with the best guides in the area including himself, and the fishing was excellent thanks to them, even though the river conditions...

Sarah and Mark, proprietors, are genuinely pleasant, highly knowledgeable concerning the local area;Sarah serves excellent food, they keep their clients cabins clean, and have located their lodge in a quiet, beautiful area. Even their dog is engaging and friendly. The large shade trees located throughout their property, the well cared for green lawn and the horses onsite add to the attraction....

My first time fly fishing was last month with my brother and grandfather and we stayed at Great Waters Inn. I could not have asked for a better experience. Everything was wonderful. The guides I met were fantastic and I learned more than I imagined I could have in the 4 days that I was fishing. The rooms were just...

What a great Montana Lodge. I just got back from The Great Water Inn after spending three nights in Melrose. The owner Mark was fantastic host and the accommodations could not have been better. Two of the three nights we had dinner at the lodge and the food was excellent. I thought i was in a fancy restraint. The last...

Stayed twice at Great Waters Inn and both times the weather was great and the river runs were premium, so the location is perfect. This is a rustic environment. Not for those who want to be pampered. The rooms are clean and simple. The lodge is appropriate in size for the environment and number of guests. The REAL luxury here...

I just returned from 5 days of fishing with Mark Lane and stayed at the Great Waters Inn. The fishing was great, the food was superb, and the lodging was great. I have been to Great Waters now and fished with Mark for about 20 years and during that time have been there at least once a year, sometimes twice,...

I've been to Great Waters Inn five times now, and I've always had a great time. And I intend to go back. I just returned from a trip. As always, Mark and his associates' guiding services are top notch, the food is excellent, and the environment is beautiful. The local wildlife is amazing; aside from catching many fish (I lost...

I was promised a comfortable updated clean room by the owner Mark. I paid the full price for two nights and when I checked in I was almost eaten alive by the mosquitos and when I sat on the bed it was filthy and sagged considerably. I peaked into the bathroom and I could not spend more than 5 minutes...
