My husband and I stayed one night before driving the spectacular Bear Creek Highway in mid-August. Our stay was good overall. Price was good for Red Lodge. We stayed in a King Condo which was essentially a traditional, somewhat old-fashioned hotel room looking out at a pond. Some of the resort's other accommodations appeared to have more amenities (balcony/patio, etc).... More

This is the first place to stay coming out of the northeast entrance from Yellowstone. They have comfortable room for bigger families. We stayed in a room that would have slept 6 to eight 8 people easy. They have a really nice pool area and well maintained grounds. The breakfast was great but the guy who was taking care of... More

Clean comfortable room facing a rushing stream. Grounds are attractive. Breakfast wasn't so inviting but the staff was very friendly and eager to please. Loved the location. Outside town. Perfect place to stay before heading into Yellowstone.

Not a resort in any way I can see. Thankfully they were nice enough to let us out of a 2 night reservation. The stellar reviews made us believe it was really a beautiful place. The location next to a creek is nice as are the surrounding mountains. The rooms are old time. Once we mentioned AAA desk clerk said... More

Stayed here with a large group of motorcycle friends. Everything was great. The room I had was spacious and super clean when I checked in. The only downside was that I had to call to get the towels etc. changed the next day and others told me they had to do the same. The setting is beautiful with a fast... More

Rock Creek Resort is a gorgeous place. Located on the way to the northeast entrance to Yellowstone, it sits next to a creek and has beautiful grounds. Rock Creek also boasts a catch and release trout pond on it's premises. In all, a very scenic location. The room was nice and clean, but maybe a step below what you might... More

We stayed in the Beartooth Lodge on the 2nd floor overlooking the creek. What a nice surprise! My daughter & I had had adjoining rooms. My little grandson was so excited to see the creek and watch it. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The resort has different bldgs. The one we stayed at had an elevator which was... More

So we booked the room in the lodge yesterday and were not advised there would be a wedding, and party, taking place DIRECTLY BENEATH OUR ROOM. Probably is a great place to vacation, certainly beautiful , would be nice to hear the creek, but the creek is drowned out by the loud wedding party....would have been nice to know

The location of this hotel is beautiful. The creek runs directly behind the property and many of the rooms back up to it. It's also a great place from which to take the Beartooth highway to Cook City and head into Yellowstone. So for a quick one-night stopover, it's fine. However, the rooms are tough to relax in if you're... More

We slept in a huge king sized bed with the screen door to the balcony pulled and listened to the sound of the roaring river right outside our room. Stars everywhere! This is a great location to drive up Beartooth Highway to the pass. Excellent hospitality! We would love to return!
