Silver Gate is one of those small paradises that you feel so lucky to have discovered. The owner of Silver Gate Cabins is a very interesting and friendly man who goes out of his way to make sure you're comfortable. There is a little store connected to the cabins with everything you need (and some stuff you didn't THINK you...

We arrived after a day in Yellowstone and spent one night before heading back to the airport early the next morning. It's right outside the Yellowstone gate. We saw a grizzly bear run across the main road when we were heading out that morning. Cute cabins and they are pet friendly. The little town a few miles away is very...

Couple of miles from entrance to Yellowstone Park. In the trees, in the mountains, great views and ambience. Complete kitchen. Small but very comfortable cabin. We rented 5 cabins (10 couples on a motorcycle trip). Picnic tables, and fire rings. We had a blast every nite. 2 nite stay. Highly recommend!

This place has so much backwoods character! It is such an unbelievably beautiful location and the cabins are so charming. Beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. A highlight was the half dozen campfires scattered around the property open to anyone to use. General store had good coffee and wifi (though don't expect the wifi to work in your room,...

We stayed in the "motel". They advertise wifi, but when we out there it was out - and informed it was only to be used for email. No phone, no tv, and no coffee. The room came equipped with two flyswatters for good reason. The door would not stay closed without a strong slam. There was no chain or deadbolt....

Beware of their nasty cancelation policies!!! I canceled one month out (from my reservation date) and was charged $35! Outrageous! Then I was told if I had waited another day, I would have lost my whole room deposit - cost of the first night. Outrageous!!!!!!!

Clean, quiet and comfortable! We stayed here one night, wish it could have been longer. The cabin had a full kitchen and a variety of board games to play. Woke up to birds singing and buffalo grazing right outside our cabin!

Clean & had nice touches for a rustic feel. Had most of what we needed (and if we didn't have it - we didn't need it). The guys at the general store for check in were very nice. Perfect to sit out on the porch & relax looking at the mountains. Always wonder if beds will be comfortable but we...

We stayed one night in a cute cabin, so near the creek. Beds were comfy. Appreciated the organic cleaning products and toiletries left in the room. As we prepared to leave the next morning, a big buffalo lumbering through the cabins, coming wishing 5 feet of us as we loaded the car. It was awesome!

These cabins are located one mile from the northeast entrance to Yellowstone. This is a perfect location to stay when visiting the park as you enter into the Lamar valley first and there is always a lot of wildlife to see there (wolf den, bison, etc.). You are located between two mountains and there is a river across the road....
