It's true the pizza is fantastic- homemade artisan style that my kid liked too! The employees (not the owner- she wasn't there) were friendly and welcoming. There are many grumpy signs and there were some pessimistic people there at the same time so I would say to take the reviews (and responses) and compare it with your attitude. You'll have...

We stopped here for a soak on our drive down the Bitterroot Valley, having read about it online. Spent about an hour in the big, warm pool. Not really very hot, except right where the water comes out. But it was nice and peaceful and we really enjoyed it.

The place is neglected, but it is a wonderful place to go after skiing, unfortunately, the woman doing the booking and waitressing stresses on any little infraction guests may put upon her. She was rude during our visit to the dining room. Taking every opportunity to shame us for making her day miserable. She made the meal almost intolerable, with...

Yes! A wonderful place to go after skiing! Thank you for noticing! It is not neglected as this reviewer writes. There is an unreal amount of time and attention that goes into a property of this size and nature. It's such a peaceful place - usually anyway. There are occasionally some busy ski weekends that cause the peace to subside...

We had a wonderful stay at lost trail hot springs resort. The owners and staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We very much enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and the food was excellent especially the pizza. We really appreciated how organized and accommodating they were. The cabin was vintage rustic and reminded us fondly of a place...

We rented a cabin for the night here on a trip up to Glacier National Park. The pool and hot tub were nice and hot, and there is a large changing room with showers next to the pool. We arrived too late to try the pizza, but breakfast was very good. The cabin was ok and had a nice screened-in...

Before I even start writing this review I implore those who are considering staying at this establishment to read the reviews that several people have written and rebuttals by the owner of Lost Trail Springs. At this point I feel that no matter what I write my review will be answered by excuse after excuse by the owner. First, let...

Yes, please read the reviews (preferably before you book your trip - what sense does it make to read them after?) and make informed decisions regarding what you do with the precious little time you get off to do with as you please. We want you to be happy and we don't want unhappy people here (they're very annoying and...

The restaurant wasn't open yet when we went this last time but I've heard rave reviews about their pizza. They also had the cover over the top of the outside which made it nice when it was cold but as it got warmer it was a bit unbearable. They finally opened up a hole at the other end to let...

So sorry to hear you missed out on the pizza! Though the pool is open year round, the restaurant has seasonal closures. It's sad, we know, because the pizzas are awesome, but hopefully you'll get a chance to come back and try us out again! The cover over the pool is a tricky thing. It's wonderful in the winter but...

We stayed in a great cabin with a large jetted tub and had such a nice time we are already planning to go back. Loved the friendly staff. We also enjoyed visiting with the other guests and hearing such interesting stories.

Great! That's exactly the kind of experience we want our guests to have! The Jacuzzi Bathtubs are in Cabins 1 and 2 for anyone that wants to go on our website to look at pictures and details online. We'll look forward to having you with us again! Thanks for taking the time to share your experience.

This resort has limited opening during the winter season like Fri-Sun. They will open full bore in June. Staff is friendly and fun. This is a very rustic resort. No WiFi, TV, telephone. There is a restaurant and bar. Go for their wood fired pizza. It is worth it. For 2 adults we got a cabin, queen bed, dinner and...

So glad you had a good time! We don't mean to contradict you, but just in case it's important to our readers, we do have satellite WiFi in the main lodge - where the pool and restaurant are located. It's not the fastest internet, and it doesn't reach the cabins, but it'll do the trick for checking emails and such....

All of our staff interactions were excellent, everyone we interacted with was very courteous and helpful. The cabin is rustic. Relaxing in the hot tub and pool was the perfect finish to a day of skiing.

Really? Staff interactions were excellent? Then you must have been excellent patrons as well! Judging by some of the reviews we've gotten over the years, some readers might find that hard to believe but I'm sure we are just as guilty as the rest of mankind when it comes to giving what we get. Some interactions are admittedly unpleasant, no...
