The hotel is located just 1/2 mike outside Yellowstone’s west entrance, so the location is great if you can’t stay in the park. When we first arrived I was not sure what to except because the town seemed a bit dated, but I found out...More
Great location and friendly people. Loved the breakfasts in their adjoining restaurant. Wait staff very friendly and fast service so we could go out and visit Yellowstone. Their housekeeping has slipped since our last visit eight years ago. Despite reporting that the trash in the...More
The lodge was beautiful, people friendly and inviting. We loved reading about the history of the lodge. The rooms were spacious and well decorated. The package we bought from the lodge had everything included for our day trips on a snowcoach and on snowmobiles including...More

I thought the accommodations were just fine. The room we stayed in looked just like the pictures and for me the bigger issue is that it was really clean. If you are looking for 5 star plush then this is not for you. But for me with my husband and kids it worked out just perfect. The only area in accommodations that they are limited in is there is not elevator. So you carry your bags to the second floor or you will need to request a first floor room. I also stayed in the lodge and did not go into the motel portion so I cannot speak to that. I also agree with the post above our breakfast was worth it - Get the Biscuits!
