Our experience was extraordinary! The staff was so helpful and friendly and the hotel was super clean. Free shuttle to and from airport and downtown was awesome! Just call and they’re there within a few minutes. Not a bad drive to Glacier National Park. Would highly recommend.
Sarah, Matt, the general manager, and Josh the shuttle driver all went above and beyond what I have experienced in other hotels. I really appreciated the extension in my checkout time so I could make my train reservation. Josh met me in the airport baggage area to assist me with my bags. I was impressed. The hotel was clean, quiet and the breakfast was good (even during Covid). I appreciated that they had a shuttle to and from the airport, downtown Whitefish and also to the train station. I will definitely come back. Very convenient.
My niece and I went ot MT to visit the Glacier National Park in early June, hoping to avoid the crowds. While the Whitefish location is about40 minutes from the entrance, we thought it was the perfect spot. It's very close to downtown Whitefish so there's some nice food options. The 2 room we stayed in were clean and comfortable, as is typical of most Hampton Inn. The view from room 323 was beautiful as we could see the mountains in the distance. What really made our visit unique was the outstanding service we received, especially from Sarah at the reception desk and Leaman, who is the head of maintenance and the driver. Sarah was
Managers Matt & Sara took care of my family & I during this awesome trip. Clean hotel, kind staff, & made us feel very welcome the whole time. I’ve stayed at over 100 Hampton Inns around the US & this was in my top 3 best experiences. Great location too, very close to downtown Whitefish.
Well I was planning on doing this review after our stay. Up until Tuesday June 15th it has been good. Rooms are nice the beds comfortable. But it all went downhill when used the shuttle tonight. First off. Dave the shuttle driver is the best. Well unfortunately he was off today. We made arrangement to go to a restaurant down on 2nd ave. We were told JOSH was going to be the driver. Well let’s back up one night. We had issues with our tv and didn’t have a clue. He was not friendly. Now back to tonight. Josh sort of greeted us. This is a large van they use for shuttle very nice. It’s a high step. Dave always used the step stool to help us get it. Well josh did not. After I struggled my sister asked can I have the stool he ignored us. So finally we get to restaurant. He is so unfriendly. I got out of van and I have a bad leg which we told him, it hurt when I got out he did’nt seem to give a damn. So we had our dinner and we called the hotel at 6:47pm talked with Matt he said ok will let him know. Well 17 mins went bye and no josh. So we called Carly answered said oh he left 5 mins ago. So we figured with traffic it would take maybe ten mins. She said he should be there any minute. Well another 10 mins go by now we have a rain storm hitting we go under shelter. We called him he said I am almost there well another several minutes went by finally we saw him. We were on the corner. He saw us he waved and passed us. we thought oh ok he will big us up in this driveway where he dropped us off at. But no he passed us up. Finally he showed up and passed us again as well yelled. He turned to the opposite side of the road. We are like what the heck. So we crossed a street we could not see oncoming traffic well. We asked why why he didn’t pick us up where he dropped us off. He said oh that’s a private driveway we said that is where you dropped us off he shrugged us off. So earlier I called talked to Carley to say we were unhappy with josh that he gave us no courtesy at all offering us a stool. She would speak to him. So our obvious conclusion was he took his time and when it started raining he wanted to piss us off and therefore drove past us twice in the rain. So we finally arrive he did not get out right away he had to make us wait while he logged his trip. Dave did it afterwards. We are complaining to the manager when we get ahold of them. This is the only reason they get a one star all because of one employee that was a inconsiderate jerk. Let’s see if manger cares about this review.…
