It was a functional stay. Had a room that smelled like disinfectant like a 70's motel. Many parts of the room were "well-used" - paint peeling in many places, a set of open cubbies (instead of a closet) missing finish in lots of places. eating area felt and looked like a cheap hostel. Room was surprisingly quiet. Staff helpfulness was...

Very basic hotel type room with small shower but friendly staff and hearty breakfast before skiing made for a wonderful stay. Ski shuttle bus was available to take you to lift but you could take a short walk and ski down to first lift and ski to back door of HH at end of the day. Lost a glove in...

Well, where to begin....I was looking for a ski trip for my son and I and didn't want to spend the gobbs of money that it takes for some of most traveled resorts. Plus I was looking for some where I have never skied. Acting on advice from a friend, I checked our the Hibernation House in Whitefish Montana (via...

We were very pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the rates were. The rooms are nothing fancy, but clean and very comfortable. Ours had a double bed and twin bunk beds. The beds were comfortable. We had a mini refrigerator. We had no air conditioning but was furnished with a fan and opened our window, which made all the difference. They...

Hibernation House is a great value for an active vacation. My family stayed at Hibernation House in late July, 2016. We had a room with a full-size bed and twin bunks for the kids. While the room was adequate, it is not a place that you would want to hang out in. However, the lobby has wifi, and lots of comfortable...

Very clean. Beds super comfortable. Delicious breakfast. Friendly staff. Quiet rest. This is a beautiful spot. We stayed before entering Glacier. There is access to mountain bike trails and hiking at the Whitefish Resort. We would definitely stay here again.

Not impressed. Breakfast was mediocre at best. Super loud. When the person next room over flushed his toilet our toilet would gurgle loudly. No A/C, room smelled and apparently no house keeping, they came in and change the trash but that was it, couldn't make a bed or take out dishes from breakfast. Not worth the money.

This was my second stay with my husband and 16 year old son. We were here July 25-29 2016. We like it mostly because of the low cost, great breakfast, and Bree the front desk staff who is so friendly and engaging. The room is small with one queen bed and a bunk bed, there is a musty smell and...

The room we had was a great size and they all appeared to be much the same size, there was a king size bed and bunk beds in the room. We were welcomed by the most nicest person we've met for a long time, his name escapes me but he was the proud owner of a bass guitar - please...

My husband and I met friends in Whitefish. We were looking for a place that wasn't cost prohibitive. It is one of the older resort hotels there. So, if you are looking for new carpetting and really up to date rooms then don't go to this place. Our room had a queen size bed AND bunk beds. If you are...
