Very run down. Old rooms with stained carpet. Strong old cigarette smoke smell in the lobby. We only stayed one night on our way back from skiing and I wouldn’t stay longer than that. Heater was loud and it took almost two hours to warm up the room.

We spent ne night at this lodge. Its appearance is like it may have been quite the location in the 1960's, but is in need of a facelift at this time. The elevator was an antique, small, old and slow. The room needed light bulbs in the wall lamps, The view was great however, being across the street from the...

We checked in, gave us a double bed, we reserved 2 queen beds. Had to go back down stairs, they gave us another room with 2 beds. First room smelled like cigarette smoke. Second room was a bit better. 1 bed was so broken down if you sat on it you went down to the springs. Hotel is in dire...

This is an historic style hotel. We enjoyed an upper room with a nice view of the bay. The main hotel is older, which means you better like thing less modern. However, that said, the room was larger than most modern hotels and has a room design no longer found in today's hotels. It was a good experience.

When you first pull up to the hotel, the look has a cool retro look. The lobby has older chandeliers and decor hat really give you the feel of a charming hotel. But, once you get on the rickety elevator and walk down the hallway to your room, you will see the worn, spotted carpets and the charm is gone....

My girlfriend booked this room to participate in the Spartan World Championship Races held at the Squaw Valley Ski Resort. It was a 30 minute drive through beautiful scenery. The hotel is tired and dated. VERY tired and dated. It's a four story hotel with a casino. The hotel is smoke free, but the casino stinks of smoke. Due to...

Stopped in as we drove the North shore. Played a fun lightening game. Would have stayed longer, but the gal next to me was so gross w/her cigarette. ..and kept talking to the machine. Other than that I love the variety of older and newer casino games. I always come here when I'm in Tahoe.

Definitely NOT anywhere close to deserving the $100 a night to stay here. We could have stayed in Reno for half the price at twice the accommodations. Obvious this dive has seen better days. Not worth more than about $29 a night. Horrible customer service...if any. You can tell the staff does not enjoy their job. Quite run down and...

Ok, let me say this is not the norm for my wife and I. We are Marriot people......but it was next door to a restaurant my wife and friends wanted to eat at after a day of hiking. It took us a while but we warmed to the place! Built sometime in god knows when, the decor throughout the hotel...
