Came for a pool visit with my friend on a birthday trip to Vegas and decided to grab a couple drinks and enjoy the sun. Paid my bill and left, Jose the “manager” decided to run my card information for several unauthorized charges to a grand total of almost 400$ while tipping himself a good 80 dollars. Dealing with fraud and getting my money back but this establishment had the nerve to send the fraudulent receipt as “proof” with no authorization information on it or details proving that I authorized it like my actual transaction had on the receipt. To top it all off I called after I noticed the fraudulent charges and they told me Jose was the manager of the pool bar and when I spoke to him he assured me he would resolve it and would call me back, I called them multiple times and he never called me back so it wasn’t to my surprise when I saw on the fraudulent receipt that he was the server listed. DO NOT USE A CARD and pay with CASH! Better yet take your money and go somewhere worth spending it because aside from the experience the establishment was poor and unkept!…
It is August 22nd, 2022. My sister and I brought her 12 year-old grandson to Sunset Station as the last vacation before school starts. Today’s temperature will exceed 105 degrees. We went down to the pool at 9:00 this morning expecting the pool to be open per the hotel’s website and hotel personnel. At 9:10 we called to find out why the pool was not open. After being transferred to hotel security, I was told that the pool does not open until 11:00 because “the kids are back in school” and “that they would send someone to change the sign.” Everyone waiting to go to the pool were as disgusted as we were. We then complained to the front desk and we were told that “someone forgot to change the sign, but the pool does open at 9:00 on the weekends.” Well, whoop de doo. It’s the middle of summer, 105 degrees, but the pool is not open. You will be happy to learn that they changed the sign to read: pool hours 11:00 to 6:00 for a loss to us of three hours. Mr/Ms Pool Manager, here’s your sign: ASININE.…
I'm quite undecided about the hotel. My stay began with a room which smelled like cigarettes as soon as you turned the AC on. They helped me swiftly by providing me with a new room. The cigarette smell is gone. However, the wifi in this room is horrible. As I am writing this the internet page still hasn't loaded entirely yet. I was working at the pool all day with my laptop and the wifi there is better than in my room. The wifi in the other room worked perfectly as well. The only solution they can give me is to upgrade to 'premium' wifi for 8 dollars... I think that's just a little embarrassing. Anyway, the pool is okay. There are plenty of restaurants in the hotel to enjoy and if you like gambling there is a lot to do as well I suppose.
I chose Station Hotel for a weekend getaway because it is off the Strip in Henderson. The website advertises a family friendly environment with Kids Quest, Cyber Quest, bowling, a theater, and shallow pool. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was the worst experience, and they have the absolute worst customer service. We were assaulted in the swimming pool; I was hit in the chest with a football and my 4-year-old was hit in the face with a football while in the pool. This large group of people (approx. 80-100 people) began screaming at us, swearing at us, getting in our faces. They were all drinking and appeared to be intoxicated. I immediately removed myself and my children from the pool and went back to our room. No one did anything to help. The lifeguards in the pool did not come to his aid, there was no security at the pool, this large group of people was also smoking marijuana at the pool and no one working for the hotel or at the pool did anything to stop it. We complained to the pool manager Michael, who did nothing. We filled out an incident report with security and spoke to the hotel manager. Although she was friendly, all she did was remove the resort fee from our bill. This group of people who assaulted us in the pool were staying on the same floor as us. We had to move rooms for our safety. The room we were put in had dirty towels in the bathroom and garbage on the floor. All of this was put into our incident report. I contacted the corporate office and spoke to Todd at 702-547-7730 who screamed at me and told me he was going to “put the charges back on our bill” that the hotel manager removed after I complained. My recommendation is that you DO NOT STAY HERE or at any of the Station Hotel properties.…
Sunset Station is the best off the Strip property in Las Vegas. Huge gaming floor. I drive there from the Strip, but it has free transportation to the strip, Freemont st. Great Mexican architecture inside. The center bar is the highlight of any visit.
Check-in was fast and easy. They had a room ready when I asked to check-in at 1PM. You could easily stay here a few days without having to leave this place. Great variety of restaurants. Even more restaurants across the street. There's even a Walmart you can walk to as well. Casino is large with a great variety of machines to play. I really enjoyed my 2 days here. Will most certainly stay here again.
Stayed here before the pandemic and was impressed. Not as much this time. The hotel is needing cleaners as the rooms are subpar. Very dusty. No safes in the rooms anymore unless you upgrade. The Cafe has excellent food however and the prices are reasonable. Super little bakery bar. Need to make it non smoking or get better ventilation.
This place is a dump. Stayed here for only one night (thank goodness) . No hot water on day of check in and no hot water morning of check out. Shower/tub were rusty. I've had better experience at hotels in third world countries.
My son and I stayed at Sunset Station 1/22/22 and had a great time. They let us check in early (about noon) and we went to drop our stuff off in the room. The room was nothing real fancy, but the beds were very comfortable. The casino floor was huge and it was no problem to get a cocktail waitress to take our order. We gambled from 12:30 till midnight and didn't get robbed like we did in most other casinos. I loved the décor and the restaurants were very good. We will be back.
I chose this hotel because it was away from Vegas a bit and it was about a 15 min drive from the strip. Glad I did. Rooms were clean, spacious and everyone seemed to wear a mask. Good thing! Choice of restaurants in it was awesome, check the Pasta Cucina if you are here. No frills, very basic, not even a fridge in the room which was unfortunate as I was traveling with a diabetic friend with special foods and we had to go buy a cooler at Walmart next door and rely on Ice cubes. All good but nothing special
