We went to Tahoe during the peak of the summer seasons, when prices were high. We found the Parkside on a "blind" booking site and were very pleased. The rustic hotel is surrounded by towering fur trees. The desk clerk directed us to a magnificent lakefront restaurant, just a few blocks away. Starbucks was just down the street. The staff...

A very rustic looking motel in Incline Village, the Parkside is a decent hotel. There are several things that we liked, but some definite areas for improvement. On a recent trip with my mom and 2 year old daughter, we spent two nights at Parkside. The cabin feel was charming, but quite cramped for the three of us. We had...

This hotel is small and rustic. Our room, on the first floor, had two areas (not really rooms, but a partition between) with a queen bed in each. We had asked for a rollaway for my two year old granddaughter, but the rooms were not large enough to accommodate that, so they gave us a pack and play for her....

This is a nice rustic inn. Very reasonably priced compared to other hotels in the area. Very walkable to the beach and other points of interest. The breakfast is just OK, cereal, bagels, OJ, at least the coffee is good. But it's rare to get a free breakfast these days. The rooms are just fine, the bed is comfortable and...

We stayed for one night on a road trip. Interior hallways were a little uninviting, but our room on the second floor was quite nice - spacious, clean, attractive cabin-style decor and furniture, free wifi, comfortable bed, mini-fridge, in-room coffee and excellent shower. The friendly and helpful front desk clerk recommended Austin's for dinner, a short walk from the hotel,...

We were here for 4 nights while on a mountain biking trip. Overall, a really good stay. Very clean, spacious rooms. A nice sized bathroom with a tub and shower. An very big closet, plus a couple of drawers for clothes. The decor is warm and inviting, with reading lamps over the bed and a small table/chairs for eating/typing on...

So the essentials were fine. Beds and room were clean, pool was warm, continental breakfast was adequate. What really irked me is that their website says, "you can access our two private beaches" but what it doesn't tell you is that it costs extra...$32 extra for my family! I've traveled plenty and done plenty of research prior to traveling, and...

We booked this inn based on the proximity to a wedding we were attending. I am so glad we did. It is very quaint, clean and comfortable. Very reasonable rate too ! I would definately recommend this place.

Room was cold, and it was snowing out. Only a little wall heater to warm a large room. Asked for a wake up call,,,they do not do that. No alarm clock in the room,,,loaned me one that did not work! No carpet or rug on the cold floor! Key without a keychain! Easy to loose!

We booked this little place for a two day ski trip because it is relatively cheap and it is in incline village. The hotel set up reminds me of Day's inn or equivalent except the decor is nicer. They are going for the woody cabin feel and succeeded. We were told our room was upgraded so it is a little...
