Hyatt Lake Tahoe is the perfect destination for any season! Set on Lake Tahoe’s north shore with 500 feet of private, lakefront beach, the resort's prime location is just 35 miles to Reno/Tahoe Int’l Airport; 40 miles to South Lake Tahoe Airport. The 421 guestrooms, including 26 lakeside cottages, have been decorated with natural pine, distressed wood, and leather furnishings, reflecting the setting with autumn colors of moss, brick red and wheat. Included in our Lake Tahoe resort's is Stillwater Spa and Salon. Offering 138 luxury guestrooms with views of the Sierra Nevada skyline, Stillwater Spa provides visitors with private balconies and breathtaking lake views. The Spa Terrace replaces the resort's former Aspen Terrace and overlooks the resort's new swimming pools.

From check in to check out, everything was so great! Every staff was so kind and very helpful. Great location for north tahoe lake and free shuttle for diamond peak ski resort. Love to visit there again near future.

We stayed in a cottage and our family joined us for dinner at the amazing Lone Eagle Grill. The full view of Lake Tahoe was spectacular. Every morning their huge staff is out making the facility perfect. The staff goes above and beyond to please.

Lots of small issues during my recent stay with my family have taken this once great place down a notch in my book. Check in experience was great, appreciate the sparkling wine. The service at Stillwater was slow. Was awakened at 3am by some crazy music from the room next door.

Absolutely my favorite place to stay, great location, super comfortable and great staff. The restaurants, coffee shop and s'mores by the fire pit are all great. When there you don't need to go anyplace else. A true retreat & treat!

The valet and concierge desk need some help. Concierge desk was staffed only at random times. The valet was severely understaffed considering the snow conditions and number of guests. Beyond those two issues, everything else was 5 stars.

Thanks for your note, and for the friendly review! We'll share your staffing note with our management team. In very heavy snowfall (like this past February, phew!) we often ask our valet and concierge team to spend time in the snow clearing off guests' cars, and as a result, we sometimes may have to move a bit slower at the inside desk – but never fear! If that happens, just let the front desk know and we'll do our best to rearrange staff to get everyone assisted as soon as possible. We're glad everything else was five-star and hope to welcome you back on a future trip to Tahoe!

Hey there! The start of June is usually pretty warm - great weather for hiking and such. There may be a bit of snow on the mountains but it's warm and summery at lake level. Hope that helps!

i believe they run the area around the hotel as only permitted by hotel guests... so if it’s a packed hotel.. the chances of the beach area being over crowded is dependent on that... you will see other areas around you that have lake access... but, if your not a resident of incline.. you can not go onto that part of the lake.. I tried taking my 3yr old to the playground by the lake... the both person notified me that I could not be there if I wasn’t a resident..

We had a rental car and had driven in from San Francisco. If you're on the north side of Lake Tahoe it is a very pretty 35-40 minute drive to Reno airport. If you're on the south side of Lake Tahoe add about 45 minutes to that drive.
