While we appreciated the convience of this location, the parking availablity and freeway access it was not a highlight of our trip. The room was large which was nice but there wasn't any TV guide and we had problems with the bathroom shower was not easy to regulate (even AFTER they sent someone up to "help"). The bed was comphy... More

I arrived as a disabled person and could get no help getting to room; no valet or bellman. Rooms are ancient and casino is poor with no gamers. The elevators are scary and the on site Dennys needs waiters. The gas station is about $.80 higher per gallon than Vegas!

For the price this stay was easy, the room was clean and the bed and pillows were perfect! Older style but clean! Stayed in 510 with view of the block next door and the pool. The room was bright and ok. Close to Seven Magic Mountains and a great drive to Sandy Valley!

Ironically, they are renaming the Hotel "Terrible's", apparently because the new owners also run the Terrible Herbst gasoline chain. Ironic because that was my impression of the way that this hotel is run. Maybe being penny-pinching and hiring low-end help works when you are running a gas station, but it sure doesn't for running a hotel. My experience was easily... More

Stayed in a renovated room. Clean, comfortable, especially for the price we paid ($65 weekend). Needs new shower curtain, otherwise fine. The casino was semi-empty, not the place for gaming, but fine for a short stay. The money we saved by staying here went toward golf. So, no regrets.

Funny place with the gambling hall in the middle of nowhere. Staff was fine. Rooms are okay, clean spacious, basic, everything you need. No fridge though. Hot tub and pool are nice. Breakfast is at dennys, food is good, staff is horrible. But it is included so don't whine. Nothing to complain about except the wifi, which didn't work. "We've... More

We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is clean and staff friendly. It is noisy, we could hear people as they were walking above us. Nothing a couple of ear plugs didn't get rid of. Looking forward to all the rooms being remodeled.

We have been coming here for 15+ years only because they closed the Nevada Landing across the highway. The Gold Strike is okay for an overnighter if you're passing through but no more than that. The buffet is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner which sounds great if you like the same items on the buffet that have been there... More

This place was deserted but the price was right and room clean if shabby. Definitely a throwback. Our inexpensive deluxe room included breakfast at Denny's. As a cultural experience it is worth it. Lots of slots if you're interested and live singers at the bar which had only one patron.
