Excellent view of the golf course, Small pool, no jacuzzi, exercise room, casino, movie theatre, bowling alley, no buffet, multiple restaurants, valet parking,, self parking, Safe, refrig, coffee maker in room. Shower bath combination, King beds have a sofa and table. Pretty large room. Key needed to go up to the room in the elevator. Check in near the valet, easy check in Table games close at 3am on weekdays. It is about a 20 minute extra drive in you come from Los Angeles, CA. They have Spa services. They have a resort fee.
(If you don't ever plan to use the pool or non-existent hot tub included in your resort fee, then this review is not for you). The grounds and Suncoast Casino and hotel itself is well kept, with friendly staff, and is very clean; however, a major draw in hot Vegas is a well kept pool with jacuzzi and relaxing vibes, as the crowd INSIDE the resort tends to skew more subdued and mellow. Unfortunately, this could not be further from the truth when it came to the "resort pool." There is NO jacuzzi/hot tub. and while it looks great in photos, of the many times I have stayed here, the pool is literally OVERRUN with unchecked kids, and BAD parents who let them run amok, literally RUNNING off paying guests who dare try to enjoy the pool and its ambience. I am writing this in my sealed hotel room, and can STILL hear the screaming 5 stories up, after having reached my limit with the incessant SCREAMING of young kids, that drown out the pool background music, ironically played by the hotel, for what reason, I have no idea, as nothing can be heard over the 'kids pool' that seems to serve as a free daycare with negligent chaperones and rude parents. who actually encourage their kids to be as loud as possible and take over the pool. I love kids but there is a time and place and for Suncoast to risk sacrificing the guest experience of actually adult gamblers and basically those paying Suncoast, which is the bread and butter of their business, to "accommodate" inconsiderate, rude, entitled parents and their unruly kids (which DO NOT contribute to Suncoast from a biz point of view), is enough to make me think twice about staying here. Even the poor pool bartenders are overwhelmed at being forced to become makeshift babysitters. I wanted to stay and relax but I was discouraged to purchase drinks because I could not see myself staying in such a chaotic pool environment. I wish I could say this is a one time event, but this has happened NUMEROUS times and it really diminishes the experience for better quality guests that will pay into your property and continue to return. Please keep this in mind when booking here if you were looking forward to being able to even get into the pool (as the kids make it impossible to even enjoy your own little spot in the already small pool). There is no hot tub either, so please keep that in mind as I assumed "resort" meant hot tub.…
I had never visited The Suncoast, but I have visited other Boyd properties and have always been happy. Came with my son (14) to visit family in Summerlin and was very pleased with this choice. He and I enjoyed the pool, the game room, and the bowling alley. I got some time in the casino, too, which has an excellent variety of slots and player friendly table games with odds and payouts you won’t find on the strip. We really loved DuPars and had two meals there. Seriously the most amazing pancakes! The room was spotless and housekeeping came in and tidied up every day. We had a double queen and were kindly upgraded to a golf view room. I don’t know if they’re all this large, but the room was huge and comfortable. All in all, this was a great visit, and when we come see our family again, The Suncoast will be our place!…
The stay was pleasant and staff were very friendly and helpful specially Vijayaram at water-villa. He is very courteous.... Cheers We plan to revisit this location sometime this year again. The food was also good.
This was my first visit to the Suncoast. After a 4 hour drive it was a pleasure to be assisted by Nancy. Nancy went above and beyond to make this visit a pleasant experience. Thank you to Nancy for the fabulous service and hospitality. She was professional, friendly and made us feel welcome. We will definitely return to this hotel based on this fantastic vacation.
It was a nice, clean, big hotel room. Staff is very polite and helpful. We stayed golf view room. It has big windows and more sun lights. It is close to Las vegas strip. You dont need to pay a lot of money to other hotels.
Seriously the worst customer service on every possible level. We booked 2 rooms for a group event that took place over this past weekend in March, 2022. One for my husband and I and one for our 2 adult kids, all over 21. We were given a group code and the info to book directly, by the hosts of the party. I booked our rooms in August, 2021. In January, we got a notice from the airline that our flight was changed, changing our stay dates. We had to push it all by a day. I call to shift the reservation a day and they told me I had to completely cancel and re-book. I let them know I needed to use the group code I used originally. They re-booked, but minus the group code. It was such a time-consuming process to even change that simple of a thing, I didn’t fight for the discount, which I should have. I also then need to add a night to the 2nd room as well. They would not just add the night on. I had to make a 3rd and separate reservation for a single night. Again, not given the group code. Fast forward to check in day. Our daughter arrived 6 hours before us and wanted to check into her room. After condescendingly reprimanding her for not being on the reservation (which she WAS), she finally called us. We travel all over the world with our kids. We’ve never had an issue like this, checking into their rooms separate. They don’t live with us and don’t arrive with us. The front desk person told her she couldn’t help, because I used Expedia. Bull. I booked directly using the group code and info on our invitation. They were so rude to her, we could hear it on the phone. They give us a number to call to add her (they couldn’t do it themselves??). My husband was on the phone for 35 minutes, to add her name (again) so she could check in. Once that was done, they said she was good to go. We told her to go try again. They were even more rude this time. Again, we could hear them on the phone being so rude. She’s asking them to talk to us. They say no and that we have to call the hotel. We’re literally calling on the other line, my daughter is saying it’s us calling and she lets someone else answer and put us on hold. lol Believe it or not, this is the story in a nutshell. It took hours for them to let her check in and gave us such a hard time. This place isn’t elite! The hoops to jump through to book a room, change a room and check in is absolutely insane. You won’t get your group rate if you make changes. We paid for 2 rooms for 3 nights each and didn’t get our original discount. That’s the only reason we even stayed here, for the group. Never again. Also, for the 3rd night they forced us to add separately, they charged us even more for than the rates for our individual night! We got ripped off at every turn. Also, Sunday morning, breakfast was arranged for our group. There was 1 wait person and 96 of us coming and going. You do the math. Most of us waited over and hour for food. Some left. The waitress was NOT happy and I can’t say I blame her. The whole place is an unorganized fiasco waiting to happen. Don’t make a single change or you will pay and be treated terribly for it.…
Our stay started fantastic when we checked in Nina was over the top wonderful from start to finish. I've stayed here many times but Nina really stood out! Professional and just so pleasant and welcoming.
Best deal in Las Vegas. Not too far from the Strip. Clean, airy and comfortable. Awesome views of the golf course and mountain range from the room. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable Spacious bathroom. Nice complimentary toiletries. Friendly, attentive, professional and courteous employees. Plenty of free parking and nice restaurants. Had the chance to get some lunch at Du-Pars. Great service and food delicious. Highly recommend. Will be staying here again the next time we visit Las Vegas.
Stayed at the Suncoast for 5 nights while visiting family. They advertise renovated rooms, which they seem to be not too old, but the furnishings are cheap/cheesy. Could've been cleaner, but not bad. If we had spent more time there, I would've not been very happy with a few things. When you enter, there is a sign saying Covid check, but there is none. The oyster restaurant is open to the casino and does NOT smell good. Should've enclosed and ventilated. Wanted to do Cosmic Bowling with my granddaughter which is supposed to start at 9pm...but there are leagues that don't leave until 9:30+, so why say it starts at 9pm? Wished they had an option for convenient, self-serve coffee. I did like that parking was free and it was less congested than other places. Bottom line I guess is that in certain situations, you get what you pay for, and our stay is what we expected. We didn't expect the Ritz.…
