very new room and very well equipped, pet friendly, a few hiccups here and there but overall still good. walls are somewhat thin so can hear occasional loud footsteps from above and neighbor's dishwisher running. Staff are super friendly. Breakfast was alright, can't complain. the TV was a bit weird though, channels were jumping all over, cannot get to the channel i want, but oh well, who watches TV in vegas.
Would recommend this place to anyone staying in Vegas. Came to bowl the tournament and didn't want to stay at casino. Very close to South Point only 5 min drive. Very nice, very clean, good breakfast and great staff. Thanks for a great vacation!
I had a good stay at this Home2 Suites in the south side of Las Vegas. The room was very clean and spacious. Everything was functional. The hotel was a short Uber ride from the airport, South Point Casino, and the Las Vegas strip. There is a convenience store and an Italian restaurant within walking distance. Next trip to Las Vegas I would consider staying here again.
The hotel was everything I was looking for. At check-in I was greeted warmly by (forgive my spelling if incorrect) Winnie and Yesenya, who were able to get me into my room early without any prior notification. The room was clean and spacious, with all of the amenities that make Home2 suites a home away from home. Aside from the cleanliness and how new the hotel was, I was most impressed by the staff, in particular Winnie who was attentive to me in answering any questions I had as well as setting up a shuttle service for me at 3:30am for a flight back to Michigan. A special thank you to Winnie, Yesenya, Thomas, and Ted for making my stay special and memorable with their great hospitality. Best Regards, KZ-R#310
We booked this hotel based on location near airport from the AAA triptik travel planning tool. On arrival we were greeted by Sandra at the front desk who made us welcome and was very helpful. She also recommended The Bootlegger Italian Bistro and gave us a coupon. We loved the hotel and the restaurant so much we came back a week later to both.
Great hotel for an extended stay. It is convenient to the strip, and the staff is very professional and accommodating. The hotel is close to the airport which is a blessing and a curse. There was some noise from aircraft taking off and landing, but that is pretty much the same all over Las Vegas.
Positives: The King Suite is large with a big fridge, a kitchenette, microwave, dish washer, utensils but no stove. Adequate counter space for work. Negatives: (1) No safety box in the room. (2) We arrived at hotel at 1.30 pm but waited until 3.15 pm after repeated requests to check on room availability. (3) when my wife stepped into the shower on the first evening, she discovered that the shower gel container was completely empty. I had to go to the front desk to get the gel since my wife was in the shower. (4) The second day: The housekeeper did not replenish the coffee and face towels and she did not empty the trash under the kitchen sink. I asked for the coffee and face towels when I saw her nearby at the hallway but she was not happy. I took out the trash myself because it was stinky. (5) The housekeeping improved for the rest of our stay, but the major problem was their forgetfulness in replenishing the coffee, toilet paper, and/or face towels. (6) Breakfast items remained the same for the first 5 days. (7) During the weekend, there were road closures due to events at the Strip. The GPS would re-direct us via different routes. Be warned: while the hotel is near the Strip, be prepared to be inconvenienced by road closures and re-routing when there are events on the Strip. Our verdict: will not stay here in the future.…
Absolutely enjoyed our stay, best trip ever. Not too close to the craziness on the strip but close enough to Uber and have a good time! Beds are comfortable, extra towels, blankets, and pillows already in the room. Complimentary fruit and coffee all day - you can’t beat that!
Not sure where to start-I’ve been disappointed in Hilton brands lately but let me outline what I walked into here. Diamond member, check in online, no choice of rooms, sold out. Our bathroom door is broken - they know, it’s on back order. Why is the room in service I asked? No answer. Elevator out of order in a sold out hotel. Stained furniture, uncomfortable beds. Sofa bed-main reason for choosing over other hotels is so bad no human could seep on it (but they are pet friendly and have treats for your pets-if only humans got such attention). They suggested a blanket to cushion it. How about replacing? No fault of the ladies at the desk- they even offered to put us up at another Hilton brand and in hindsight we should have taken the offer but my kids were exhausted and we hadn’t yet opened the sofa bed, or we certainly would have moved.it is unfair that they need to manage these issues, this is management/upper level. Your hotel is aging and abused- if a door is swinging in the wind and comes out of the wall you don’t rent the friggin room! You take money and/or points for a damaged room-that is greedy! Things happen, but you should take care of it and not sell rooms with issues and for crying out loud- update your sofa beds -plenty of hotels have great foam Mattresses on their sofas. Try to look like you care! I’m filing a complaint with Hilton Honors. Honestly I’m done with Hilton, cutting up my credit card. Disappointed too many times. I was a loyal hilton customer for 20 years. I’m done now.…
This hotel checks all the boxes. Polite, professional, warm & friendly, the front desk staff were top-notch! I had arrived in town too early, and Miss Saundra welcomed me to come to the hotel early. They have multiple seating areas inside and outside, a nice pool, a very large laundry room conveniently adjacent to their gym, plenty of room for everyone to feel like they have enough space in common areas. The breakfast was plentiful and fresh, lots of options. And everything is sparkling clean, unusually clean, with cleaners constantly cleaning. It's so convenient to have a kitchenette, we always like the Home2Suites, but this hotel seems especially fresh and new. Very nice staff throughout the hotel, can't say enough what a great place it is to stay. Near the airport and they even have an airport shuttle. Nice to get away from the constant noise at the casinos if you're there on business, as I was. We didn't get to eat at the Italian restaurant across the parking lot, but it was featured on Anthony Bourdain, and we'll eat there next time we're in town and stay at this hotel.…
