Celebreating a 50th birthday called for an 5 star view. Ford's owners suite at the Vdara fit the bill. We loved watching the Bellagio fountain from above and the feel of being a world away from the strip, yet just a short stroll. This suite had everything we needed for a perfect vegas stay- black out curtains, soaking tubs, full kitchen and plenty of space to hang out. If we ever go back- we would love to stay here again.
Hello all, We are loving our stay in Ford’s unit but we had a question and hotel staff referred us to Ford. We don’t have his contact info. Hoping he sees this and can send me a message. Again. Love the room, amazing hotel and service.
I will admit I was a bit skeptical before I booked the room on this site. Let me just say I am so happy I went through with it! The room was gorgeous and modern! it was perfect for the 6 of us. The view was definitely a game changer. Being able to enjoy fountain from the living room was perfect during the pandemic. I did not have to be out there surrounded by people. The beds were comfortable and clean. I definitely recommend and will go back.
Ford”s suite on the 42 floor was perfect! It had everything we needed and then some! Plenty of space and the hotel staff and housekeeping was at tentative to our needs! Will definitely book again when the shows start up again!
Visited Vegas for a double birthday for my son and I. Forward was awesome in helping us get suite overlooking oblige you fountains on the 42nd floor. Absolutely and awesome suite!!! The Vdara staff was awesome too. Took care of all our needs quickly! Will use Secret Suites again!
The location of, and views from, this suite are second to none, with terrific views of the Strip, and from our room, particularly of the fountains at the Bellagio. For this alone, it is worth staying here. The room is also well appointed, including with washer and dryer, and substantial kitchen cookware and utensils. Unfortunately, many aspects of MGM Resorts management of the facility are poor. Due to COVID, many facilities in the Vdara (e.g. the pool) are shut Mon-Thurs, and guests are invited to use the facilities at the Aria, which would be fine, except these are packed, which is hard to see how this helps social distancing, especially with good facilities going unused at Vdara. Additionally, even though we booked for 3 people - two adults and a child - trying to get bath linen for 3 was like getting blood out of a stone; we ended up just having to get another set of linen for two. Even more concerning was the housekeeping. When we entered our room it had the COVID seal across the door, which indicated it had been thoroughly cleansed, yet we found what looked like food detritus (not sure if human or pet) on the floor in the master bedroom, and the fridge and freezer still had partially consumed food from the previous guest. When we called to have the problem addressed, the housekeeping manager responded quickly, and was very pleasant. We had to vacate the room, but on returning only half the job had been done, and the food hadn't been cleared out of the fridge, so we ended up doing this, and sanitizing the fridge ourselves. To me this is pretty clear evidence that the hotel is just ticking the boxes, and housekeeping is just policing itself with no secondary checks. It is hard to view this as evidence of genuine COVID preventative measures. My final concern to raise is with check-in. Upon arriving, by car, I stated we were there to check-in, and was instructed by the security officer to park the car. The clear implication was that we could unload from there, but in actuality, after walking back to reception, it was evident I had to bring the car back and unload from the front. I fully understand why they are choosing to not offer bellman at present, but this shouldn't result in misinformation. Upon returning to unload I mentioned to the security guy that it would be more helpful if he instructed people to unload first, then park. He gave me a smug smile and just said "everyone needs to check in", and when I informed him his attitude was smug and unhelpful, he proceeded to give me lip. My request for management to contact me went unreturned. So, ultimately, I think the physical infrastructure of the facility is exceptional (rate 5), but its supervision and management is poor (rate 1). If I was one of the investor owners, I'd certainly be looking to correct the latter, in order to improve my returns on an otherwise terrific site.…
It was a once in life experience at the Secrete Suites. Vdara Hotel was not open yet but since these Suites are privately owned we were able to stay there and get the full experience as if the Hotel was open but only to few guest. I don't think I will experience this ever again where the whole hotel is closed and only few are allowed to be inside. It was like a VIP experience. The suites itself were very spacious and lots of room. The views are amazing in the day time and at night it is just unbelievable. We were thinking of doing the Eiffel tower experience at Paris and we canceled it after seeing the views from our room The owner of the suites was very helpful and accommodating. He gave his personal number which I am not sure who does these days but he does to make sure we can reach him if any issues. Additionally, he provided any and all updates you would need to make the stay and experience in Vegas is flawless. And talk about his response time it was just impeccable. Everyone in my family really enjoyed our stay and will be back again next year. Thank you…
The room was very clean and spacious with great views! Enough space for our whole family. It came with a full kitchen. We just wish the vent went outside and not circulate within the room. Otherwise, it was a quiet peaceful vacation in Las Vegas.
A great suite! I love this place! Would highly recommend! Very clean and very convenient! Thank you Ford very personable! Called to check to make sure we had everything we needed and gave us his personal number!
Ford was great, communicated everything really well and his place is even better. We loved our stay there and highly recommend to everyone. We were there for a conference and it was the best place to escape the hussle and bustle. We felt first class. He even allowed us to have a late check out. Could not recommend this place enough. 100 STARS....We will be back. Thx Ford for allowing us to stay in your Penthouse Suite. See you in 2020.
