I really enjoy this hotel, especially for business trips to Vegas. The hotel is new, modern, and SO WELL DECORATED. The benefit of this hotel for business travel is that it is not on the strip. The strip is busy and chaotic, which is not what I am looking for when working. Though with that said, it is close enough to the strip and all convention centers to make it convenient. The staff has always been nice but never in a rush. Check in and check out have always taken me longer than expected, even when the lines are short. There are multiple restaurant options, though I have never been overly excited about any of the food I have had. It is pricey too, though what in Vegas isn't? There is a small casino, but it almost feels like a novelty vs the heart of the hotel like many other Vegas options. I have gone back multiple times and I will continue to stay at this Virgin Hotel. It is part of the Hilton Honors program so you get to accumulate Hilton points as well.

Hotel's Favourite
Even though the hotel is slightly off the Strip it is an excellent location for multiple bars, restaurants and 24-hour entertainment with the CVS that is also open 24 hours right across the road. I was lucky enough to have oscar, the front desk personnel check me in who is absolutely amazing with his customer service, responsiveness to my needs, and gave me an excellent upgrade as a diamond member. I would like management to specifically recognize him as having amazing customer service personnel and encourage him to be a trainer for the future staff of the front desk. I would also like to thank Jeff the waiter at the hotel restaurant inside for his excellent Service. Due to these employees, I will only stay at this hotel while in Vegas as a gambler and diamond member. Anthony at the pool is also an amazing staff member who was attentive to our needs.

The hotel itself was very nice. As with all Vegas hotels, the front desk is not the most convenient thing to find when you enter from the garage...you always have to walk through the casino and shops to find them. That said, check in was quick. The room was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. Nice decor. Two issues I had: One...and not something the hotel has any control over but it still made the first night miserable and short...LAS flight path. Wind from the north = planes taking off towards the north, roaring past the hotel room until well after midnight and starting up again at 5 or so. So, unless you're a really sound sleeper, pray the wind isn't from the north. Fortunately, the wind shifted for the second two nights but, between the short night and the time change, I was dragging all day Tuesday. For this reason and this reason alone, I wouldn't stay here again. Not a gambler anyway so I'm not gonna bet on the wind direction. Second is something that seems obvious to me...a hotel in a location 'remote' from the main drag should have on site dining available later. Specifically, the pizza place needs to be open at least until midnight. Not only did they close at 11 but it was obvious they stopped cooking pizza much earlier because, when I went down at 10:50 p.m., there were exactly 5 pieces left. The two dudes in front of me took 3 and I was lucky enough to get the last 2...the line behind me was SOL. Odd that they don't stay operational at least until the people getting out of the show on site can grab a bite. And neither room service nor the one restaurant that is open late offers pizza as an option. So, if you stay here, have ear plugs or assure you get a room on the west side of the hotel and don't get the late night munchies for pizza.

Upon checking in I said to the lady at check in that I would like to have a quiet room. She responded:" all out rooms are quiet!' I am right now in that room. I feel like I am in a world war II movie. Plane noise non stop. I am in the canyon tower. Perhaps the rooms in other towers are better, but certainly not this one! 😭😔

Out of all of the hotels and resorts, I’ve stayed at in Vegas for business, the Virgin hotel had the most comfortable bed. Usually, I’m waking up with a crick in my neck a sore back or didn’t sleep well, but not at the Virgin. There were some booking issues that were a third-party’s fault, but the staff at the front desk were so kind, helpful, and accommodating while ensuring myself and 13 others were able to get checked in as quickly and easily as possible. They were lifesavers! The restaurant and food options were great. I frequented The Kitchen each day where the food and service were both top-notch. The staff on the casino floor was also extremely kind and personable will definitely be returning here for a personal visit sometime in the future!

Hotel was average. The room was a bit like a Premier Inn but not as good as there were no tea or coffee making facilities. Water was provided but only in two very small bottles - apart from being stingy this uses a lot of plastic, why can't water be provided in a large glass bottle or have places you can refill your water in the hotel? I had to move rooms - I was in 20777 Canyon Tower, and the fire alarm had a green flashing light which lit up the whole room and kept me awake, it was also cold, I tried turning up the thermostat but it didn't help, and then the light on that kept going on and off too. It would have been nice if there were extra blankets in the rooms. There was also chewing gum in the bathroom bin making me unsure of how clean everything was. The second room 20877 was fine, no flashing light, clean, and warm (photos are of this rooms bathroom). The hotel staff were friendly and moved me with no problem. Also, bear in mind the hotel is close to the airport and the planes are very loud, not the best for a good nights sleep. The Kitchen did a good breakfast.

This used to be The Hard Rock Hotel. The refurb of the rooms seems to be minimal, with the addition of the lovely Virgin Beds. Biggest plus was no resort fee! Biggest drawback was the constant noise of planes taking off overhead. The staff were great, apart from no 'In The Know' goodies - they 'don't do that there'? Seemed to be more of a Hilton with some Virgin bits in it. Would have liked to see one of the better rooms as we just booked a king for a quick overnight. The better rooms may not hear the planes as much? All in all good value, clean, friendly and laid back hotel. Wsih they had kept Strve Tylers trousers though ! :) ;)

On December 3, 2023 I gifted my 80 y/o father a trip to Vegas and we stayed at this Virgen hotel. We arrived early so we left our bags at the hotel bag area until our room was ready. Later that evening as my father napped, I was playing with my iPad Pro and using my Beats headphones so I won’t wake him. We left the room around 7:00 pm and returned at 1:15 AM. I had left my iPad and headphones on my bed thinking they would be safe there. When I returned they were missing. I searched the room for an hour before calling security to report a robbery in my room. A police report was also filed. The hotel said they would look into this. Well days passed and nothing. I called security and spoke to a lady in security stating in the hotel cámaras she was able to see 2 men go in my room around 7:40 pm. They went in twice. She then said she will be calling me back. Days passed once again then I finally received a call back stating that they couldn’t find any evidence and denied ever calling me and telling me about those 2 men. They stated they were closing the case for lack of evidence. I was very upset. This hotel does not back up the customer. I’m convinced this was an inside job and they are protecting their employee reason being both my father and I had our keys to the room. I often leave my 15 y/o daughter in the hotel rooms when I travel thinking she’s safe. I could only imagine what would have happened to her had she traveled with us on that trip. Please think twice before staying here. If you do choose to stay at this Virgen hotel, you must lock/protect your valuables if not they might be stolen. Please, please, please protect your children and don’t leave them in the room alone!

Dear Veronica, The safety and security of our guests and employees remains of the utmost importance. Team members are only permitted to enter guest accommodations for cleaning or maintenance. We always recommend guests double-check that doors are fully secure and that they lock up valuables for additional security, as well as engaging the interior locks when in their rooms. While we understand how upsetting this situation is, we have done our best to investigate it internally. We provided police copies of our security tapes. If you have additional questions, you can follow-up with the police or property. If you are in Las Vegas again, we hope you give us another opportunity to serve you during your travels.
