Just returned to my "home away from home" go to hotel in Las Vegas as travel restrictions lifted. I was of course NOT surprised at all that the WYNN Resort is even better than when I last visited in 2019! My Ratings: STAFF: 10 / 10 FOOD: 10 / 10 GOLF: 10 / 10 SERVICE: 10 / 10 SECURTY: 10 / 10 POOLS: 10 / 10 SPA: 10 / 10 See what I mean? This place has it all and does not cut a single corner at any time. Accommodating to say the least. Rooms are immaculate and this is a dream come true for any storied traveler.
This is our second time staying at The Wynn although this time we upgraded to the Tower Suites. The Tower Suites have had a recent make-over and the rooms are absolutely beautiful, spacious and clean. They are almost identical to the 'normal' Wynn rooms except you get a separate pool area, check in desk, mini fridge to chill your own items and there is more extras in your room such as a 'turn down' service with slippers and chocolates. In the bathroom there is mouthwash, hairspray, shaving cream etc which you dont get in the regular rooms. We also got $50 breakfast credit to use in certain cafes and restaurants around the Wynn each morning. All the staff were lovely and friendly and the casino floor is just wow! I wouldn't stay anywhere else coming to Vegas. The Wynn just has everything and more. Resort fees are $45 per day plus tax.…
We have been going to The Wynn for more than 20 years. They maintain a standard of excellence that far exceeds any expectations. Until we went to their new restaurant Deliah's. It is described in all their literature as a Supper Club. In New York, when you went to a Supper Club - you expected live music - dinner and dancing. Not so at Deliah's - you have live entertainment - but the only dancing is a woman dressed in a chiffon gown twirling around in the middle of the room. That was the first disappointment. Ok, so the food will be amazing, we are at The Wynn - oh no. I ordered a salad for appetizer and the server insisted that it was for 2 - to the point that she made me feel embarressed. My husband ordered shrimp cocktail - the salad was not large - but greasy - the shrimp were mushy - main course was "surf & turf" - short rib and scallops - I own a catering company and I know the meat shortages everyone is facing - but there was no excuse for the short rib they served - there is a very nice cut of short rib called English style - this was not - this was the short rib you use in stews or "flanken" the scallops were salty - it was inedible. We didn't want to create a scene. We called the server - can we have the cheque - "sure" I lost it - didn't you notice that the plates are barely touched - you asked if everything tasted okay - just as they served us! She called the manager over - and he began talking very loudly and all we wanted to do was to get out of there. Please can't we do something for you - all my husband said to them was - This is not The Wynn Standard we are used to. I contacted Guest Relations - they have ignored me. We love The Wynn - Please go to SW, Allegro, Lakeside, Sinatra's - ALL EXCELLENT…
