15 minutes from the Strip/Freemont, lots of basic shopping needs very close. Resort was clean and set up nice. Pool and hot tub were small but in excellent shape. Inside of room (2 bedroom suite) was very clean and ready upon arrival. Furniture/beds were outdated but in excellent condition. Showers were clean for the most part although shower heads were really old and there was some caulk work that was messy and dirty around the tubs. They only give hotel shampoo/conditioner/lotion/soap bottles so be prepared to go buy or ask for much more is staying longer than a weekend. Master suite has a very large walk in closet that would hold weeks worth of clothes in addition to the dresser, etc. Staff was friendly and check in/out was easy.
Overall a great home base, close enough to plenty of great golf, the Strip/Freemont, as well as 15 minutes from Red Rock Canyon.

Stayed at the Cliffs for just under 2 weeks through RCI exchange. Our unit was perfect and exactly as I requested with Dunia in a phone call a week before our reservation, thank you! 2 bedroom unit was very clean and fully stocked with more than enough in the kitchen, as we were on vacation and not really cooking. Bathrooms had lots of fluffy towels, beach towels, plenty of tissues and toilet paper, as well as shampoo, lotion, and soaps. Guests at the resort were all very friendly, and was always relaxing at the pool, with no loud obnoxious music booming. Salt water pool very refreshing, and plenty of excellent quality loungers, along with umbrellas, tables, and chairs. Loved the large balcony, and we spent many hours there enjoying the Vegas climate. Used the shuttle almost every day, with a great variety of locations available,,,grocery store anytime, red rock, fremont st, and mirage, so a car was not required for us. The shuttle drivers were all so friendly and provided tons of information. Had some great conversations with Rocky, Steve, and Mike, and got to know them pretty well as we rode the shuttles so often. Now for the staff. We had a very minor maintenance issue upon checkin. Armando was there within 5 minutes and remedied the issue, thank you. Front desk staff were all so helpful and friendly. I would often chat with them, and they all seemed happy and very approachable. Kudos to Aniza, Irene, Dunia, and Daniel, you are all a credit to the resort. We can't wait to come back to this resort. Was so nice to be in Summerlin, and able to enjoy some peace and quiet away from all the F1 nonsense currently on the strip. p.s. Shower curtain is fantastic, thank you! See you soon!

We had a wonderful experience at The Cliffs. This lovely resort is situated in a nice residential area about 20 minutes from the strip. The apartments are roomy with a full kitchen. We especially appreciated the full size GE washer and dryer after traveling the week before and bringing loads of dirty laundry.
The staff was friendly and courteous, especially Deborah who checked us in. The shuttle bus to Treasure Island on the strip was welcome and timely. We had a rental car but never needed to drive to the strip with the great shuttle service provided. The shuttle would also take riders to a local grocery store or another nearby casino. All of the shuttle bus drivers were polite and kind. Shout out to Philip and Lance, two great drivers. I wish I’d gotten the names of the others as they were all top notch.
If there were a downside to this property, all I could say is that you would need to figure transportation to and from the airport as the shuttle doesn’t go there. Otherwise, I whole heartedly recommend The Cliffs! We’ll be back!

It took 4 phone calls to get some of the things that we wanted like paper towels and garbage bags. The ceiling fan was dirty in the living room. Some of the bowels in the cabinet were dirty. Carol had to go to the front desk to get cooking tools.

We travel to Vegas annually sometimes twice a year. We arrived a little after 5pm the check in process was pretty easy. $50 resort fee and $150 deposit which is pretty normal. We went to our room located on the 1st floor and immediately upon opening the door the room smelled terrible like a strong chemical, cigarettes and dampness. We thought maybe we could open the doors to let the smell out while we checked the rest of the room. The guest bedroom had the biggest dip, hole in the middle of the bed at that point we decided this room isn’t going to work. The employees at the desk changed our room to 2057 which appeared ok had the same disgusting smell. The master bedroom had 2 blankets as a mattress cover hard as a rock uncomfortable and stained pillows. The guest bedroom bed was a little better. The bathtub was filthy, soap scum EVERYWHERE. We didn’t want to waste time moving again so we went to Walmart purchased cleaning supplies, bed pillows, linen and blankets. We only used the fridge for soda and water there was hair in there. We couldn’t even use one of the bedrooms The oven wasn’t clean the pans were nasty. We ate out for all meals for the 8 days and 7 nights we were there. We asked to have a manager contact us so that they can see the condition of the room and discuss with us why the room is like that. NO ONE ever called or came by. We stopped in the 3rd day and was told someone would call us.
It’s important for those that plan to stay there to be prepared to possibly have to purchase linen, cleaner, pillows and more!

- Aesthetically pleasing and quiet atmosphere, but the frills stop there. - Fitness center is exceedingly outdated: - Universal weight machine is antiquated and in need of maintenance. - Candy and soda machines inside the fitness center!?! I would recommend moving them outside under a cover and use the freed up space to add dumbbells & rack. - I would recommend replacing the universal machine with a power rack and free weights with a minimum of 310lbs - Would add a flat bench, as there is only a decline and incline bench. - The smell of marijuana was pervasive at the resort, which was fairly annoying for those of us that don’t use the drug. - The technology in the suites is significantly outdated, e.g., dumb tvs that don’t allow streaming (you should make sure to have an adapter and HDMI cord to connect your smart device.) The facility has dvds and players, but the latter is not included in the suites - more on that later. Otherwise, you will a) not know what shows are playing (there is no guide), b) be inundated with commercials. - Wi-Fi is spotty throughout the facility. We had to change rooms to manage virtual work meetings, as the business center isn’t laid out in a manner conducive to virtual meetings. - The larger bed in our suite was fairly uncomfortable, which led to restless sleep. It probably was well past its useful life by the time we used it. - The kitchen was decent and made for cooking meals relatively easy. Appreciated the gas stove! Grocery stores are close to the resort making it easy to stock the kitchen this saving on eating out every day. - The overnight/morning crew seemed bothered by our requests. As an example, we walked up to the front desk and asked for a dvd player. The receptionist indicated they’d have maintenance drop one off. Several hours later we called and were told by the receptionist they’d check on it and call us back, but we never heard from her again nor did maintenance ever show up. - The shuttles are good but drop-offs and pick-ups are limited. You should also have small bills ($1s) on hand, as there is only drivers expect a tip. - Pool area is very nice. Be careful of the steps into the pool because they can be quite slippery. Ask me how I know!

We found this resort (far from the Strip) and caught a relatively inexpensive week. There are one and two bedroom apartments, each with a balcony or terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is also washer/dryer, ironing board and iron. Everything you need to live very comfortably. There is a TV in every room. The couch can be turned into a bed and is actually cozy and comfortable. In the middle of the complex is a large saltwater pool, a hottub and enough sunbeds and tables. There is also a fitness centre. The facility also offers complimentary late night shuttle service to the Strip, Freemont St. and Red Rock Casino. Grocery stores are nearby. We loved this property so much that we will book it again.

This resort is very nice. The location is perfect, as it is away from the strip (close enough to visit easy enough) but very close to restaurants and shops. It is very close to Red Rock Canyon! The units are large and well appointed. Beds are comfortable. It is so convenient having a washer and dryer in the unit since we were hiking every day and got very dirty. It was our first visit to this resort but we plan on returning.

The Cliffs at Peace Canyon is nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet only moments away from all of the shopping, dining, gaming, and entertainment that Las Vegas has to offer.
The Cliffs is a lodging option where you can enjoy the nightlife of Las Vegas without the noise and commotion of the strip. It is a change of pace venue where your dollar will go much further if you choose to visit the local casinos and restaurants nearby.

This resort is very close to Red Rock canyon. Unit was generally clean except for filthy windows. Pool is very nice albeit small and in need of some aesthetic maintenance. Exercise room is low quality. Small. Broken and old equipment. Filthy windows. Needs a good scrub down. They have junk food vending machines in fitness area instead of more equipment. I had to repair Universal machine several mornings. Internet/wifi is low grade. Drops all the time. Units need a refresh. $50 resort fee is not justified for lousy internet and exercise room that is way below standard.
