Marriott's Grand Chateau receives accolades for its attentive service, with few exceptions, and its prime location near the Strip is a highlight for guests seeking both excitement and a quieter environment. The spacious suites, complete with modern amenities like full kitchens and washer/dryers, are well-regarded, although some visitors find the decor somewhat outdated and the pools on the smaller side.
Opinions on value and cleanliness vary, with praise for affordability and convenience balanced by concerns over cleaning standards and additional costs.

I recently stayed a few nights at the Marriott Grand Chateau in Las Vegas while in town for a convention at the main LV Convention Center. I chose this hotel because I prefer to stay in non-casino hotels when in Vegas, and being a Titanium Elite BonVoy member, I always look first for Marriott properties. This hotel is located one block from the Strip next to the Planet Hollywood hotel and a close walk to major strip hotels like Aria. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the closest Monorail station at the Paris/Bally's Station, and then a short ride to the convention center.
The hotel was much bigger than I expected with a fairly grand entrance. The lobby is large and actually felt a lot like a normal hotel lobby. When I arrived the bar/restaurant area was jumping and there was a musician playing. My check-in was MUCH faster than you will ever get a casino and the front desk clerk was super friendly and helpful. A major thing to note that as a Titanium Elite member at MVC properties you don't get free breakfast or upgrades or things like that. Although I was told I was given a nice suite with a view of the strip. I was quickly on my way to my room on the 23rd floor. Security is good at the hotel as you have to show your room key to access the elevators.
My suite was at the end of the hall and was amazing. It featured a full kitchen with stove, fridge, dishwasher and all the fixings and a nice glass kitchen table. There was even a full washer/dryer in the kitchen closet! There is also a large sitting area with sofa and TV and great views of the strip. The separate bedroom featured a king bed and dresser with big TV and a HUGE bathroom. There are also more great strip views from the bedroom. I found the bed super comfortable and everything was clean and neat. I really like that the TV had a TON of channels. Way more than a normal hotel. They even had like 10+ movie channels of HBO and Showtime. The wifi in the room was super fast and free.
In the morning the bathroom big and clean and well lit. The shower was really nice and powerful with plenty of hot water.
There is a cafe and store that opens at 7am that sells breakfast sandwiches and wraps and everything is reasonably priced and actually pretty good.
I found all of the staff I encountered super friendly. Honestly, this felt much more like a high end hotel/resort rather than a time-share/suite hotel combo. I would highly recommend the Grand Chateau to anyone coming to Vegas for work or play.

Spent three very pleasant days at Marriott’s Grand Chateau and have no complaints whatsoever. Check-in was a breeze, altho the lobby was extremely busy that morning with people either waiting for their cars and/or just hanging out. Maybe it was the time of year, but we didn’t have to wait til 4pm for our room, which is always appreciated. Our 1br villa was spotless, with a fully equipped kitchen and a coffee maker (yay! Unlike the Cosmopolitan which offers NO coffee makers AT ALL). Bedding was comfortable enough, terrific water pressure in the shower area and enough TV channels on the 2 wide screen TVs to keep one entertained when the Strip’s madness got too much. All the staff we encountered was pleasant and professional and kudos to Linda from housekeeping for keeping our room spotlessly clean for the duration of our stay. All in all, a very relaxing stay.

I booked a two room villa for a bachelorette party for 8 women. There was a living room/kitchen/dining room and a door to the master bedroom. Room 1 had a king size bed, also a sink in the room and a door directly into a bathroom. This bathroom also opened up to the living room. Very convenient for all. The living room had a comfortable pull out queen couch. The second bedroom had its own bathroom, a queen bed and a queen pull out couch (also comfortable), it also had a kitchenette and small table. This room could have been closed off and rented separately. The living room couch was missing sheets so I called down to the front desk and they were delivered within minutes! We felt very secure here. There was always someone stationed at the entrance to the elevators so you had to show your key to get past. The rooftop pool was closed put the 5th floor pool and hot tubs were open. Clean in both areas and well taken care of. There were complimentary mimosas from 9-10 am. There was also LOTS going on in the hotel. They had an activity sheet listing mixology classes, a tour of Vegas with Dick(he was so cute!), kids activities, a DJ, movie night by the pool, etc. The hotel is located next to the Miracle Mile Mall, a few steps from the strip, a PERFECT location. A great time was had by all, thanks Marriott Grand Chateau!

We stayed here for a week for a family trip to Vegas. We were really happy with the resort. We got a great deal booking directly through Marriott too which was nice. Although it is a timeshare resort, we didn't feel a lot of pressure to take a tour (we never ended up doing one). Also, another nice feature is that the room included daily maid service which a lot of timeshare resorts don't have (at least not included). We stayed in a "small" 1 bedroom suite which we did not find small at all and it was really convenient for us that it had a kitchen and washer/dryer. While the top floor pool was closed for renovations during our stay, the lower level pool was open and it was excellent - the water was very warm so it was quite pleasant even though the weather wasn't too hot in February. Our kids also enjoyed the activity room and we took advantage of quite a few of the activities offered in the lobby throughout our stay (music, free food/wine, etc). The valet parking is included which is quite convenient if you want to have a car during your stay (we did) but it is also very conveniently located about a block off the Strip, but right across the street from an entrance to the shopping mall at Planet Hollywood.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and will for sure be back in the future.

First time taking my 10 year old to Vegas and I wanted somewhere a little more kid friendly than my typical LV strip resorts that I am accustomed to. I was concerned that the "off-strip" location would not suit me, but, I was wrong. This hotel is no further from the strip than many of the on-strip hotels. Access to Planet Hollywood and the Miracle Mile shops right outside the door. We rented a car and the free valet parking was great. It was nice having a room with a small kitchen for leftovers and breakfast items so we didn't have to "go out" just for a snack. Overall, a good experience and I will definitely consider it my go to when going with family.
Just a few negatives that keep it from being 5 stars. 1. The GFI outlet in the bathroom had been tampered with or was installed incorrectly and anything you plugged in would fall out if you didn't hold the plug in the outlet. Made for difficult hair drying AND...a little dangerous as it got hot!
The rooftop pool was closed during our entire stay. Apparently, the front desk did not even know this because I called during my stay and was told it was open. Took the elevator up to the rooftop...and it was not.
No food/beverage service on 5th floor pool. It was January and most hotels pools were closed for the season. So, I felt fortunate to have access to a pool so I cannot fault for them for not having pool bar open, but, it would have been great if it were!!
Concierge was helpful but I did not think the restaurant recommendations were very good. They seemed to steer you to places that offered discounts for Marriott guests rather than actual good quality eateries.
You will be asked if you would like to attend the timeshare presentation. I politely declined and felt no further pressure. So, really no big deal.
We did not eat at the Lobby bar so I cannot comment on that. The quick service breakfast sandwich and snacks were as expected.
Overall, this is a convenient great place to stay when you want to go to Vegas and not stay in a casino.

This was my first stay at a Marriott Vacation Club destination and I was not disappointed. We were NOT a part of the Vacation Club, nor did we listen to a presentation on this trip. The check-in was welcoming and the concierge was very helpful in getting some shows arranged. We booked a 2 bedroom suite for three adults. The rooms were both very generous in size, although the Master bedroom was definitely larger, having both an over-sized tub AND a double shower, whereas the second bedroom had a standard tub/shower combo. Everything was clean and housekeeping was available if we needed. The kitchen was also very well appointed and we used it for a few breakfasts. Food basics were available in the Marketplace and in many local stores like CVS and Walgreens (as well as convenience stores). I would definitely stay at this hotel in the future and recommend it to friends.

We went to Vegas to meet up with my husband's Australian family. From the moment we checked in all employees were very friendly and efficient. (The young man Brandon who ran the Adult Trivia Night was very nice and my large family had a good time.) I am not a Vegas fan but I had fun-I am sure it was because there was no Casino or smoking allowed in our hotel so it was nice and quiet. The hotel is centrally located so we had no problem walking up and down the strip to all the Casinos, restaurants and shopping. My husband and I had a one bedroom and it was big enough to host all ten of us for a dinner and birthday party. There was a washer and dryer in the room which was fantastic-we used it all the time. The room was great but a little worn-that is why I didn't give it 5 stars. The pool area on the top floor was closed but the one on the 5th floor looked nice but we didn't use it. We used the Valet for parking (only option) and it worked out fine. If we ever come back to Vegas again we would definitely stay here.

We stayed here for a week, and all was well until one day 2nd from our last day, I noticed our car (a rental) was scratched near the headlights, it was not really bad, but bad enough that one could notice if checked over more closely. I was never close enough to any cars where ever I went to warrant a scratch like that, but I never checked over the car before pulling away that morning from the hotel. SO if you allow them to park for you, as it is a no-fee valet service they offer, check around the car each time they bring it to you before you leave the hotel. I suspect their valets park cars really tight and are sometimes not able to negotiate a car out in a safe fashion. Fortunately, and I suspect they knew this too, the rental had an insurance waiver with coverage by my credit card,,,,,,but if it's your own car, you may want to park across the street at Planet Hollywood garage (it's free parking, at least when I was there).

We booked a 2 bedroom villa. It had a full kitchen and laundry in one half of the unit, plus a kitchenette in the other half. There were 2 toilets, a tub/shower combo, plus a separate jetted tub and shower. Plenty of bathroom and sleeping (including sleeper sofas) for 8 guests.
The hotel is located just off the strip, and in a great location for walking to most restaurants and Vegas hotspots.
The pools (one on the 5th floor and one on the 38th floor) were small and shallow. The pools were the only real disappointment for us.
Everything else was clean, well maintained, and met our expectations.
Visit with confidence.

We checked in during the July 4th “freedom from the pandemic” rush and considering the huge number of guests checking in and traversing in and out of the resort, I found the staff to be extremely helpful and efficient. Considering the amount of foot traffic this place receives, all the moving parts seemed to be in sync. We’ve stayed here several times previously, but never at a time that was as busy and chaotic as this holiday weekend. My only complaint was that we didn’t get the “Ocean View” room that we requested since we were celebrating our 40th anniversary, which was noted on the reservation. But Jessica did an outstanding job of finding the best unit she could, with a minimal amount of inconvenience. Many thanks to Alex M. for his assistance in getting our villa ready quickly which was spic and span. Your efforts did not go unnoticed.
But while I have no complaints about the property I do take issue with housekeeping being suspended completely, particularly for MVC owners, considering the hefty maintenance fees we pay. After all, maintenance includes housekeeping, not just covering things that break and need to be replaced. I can see cutting off housekeeping for non MVC owners staying on property, but you don’t bite the hand that feeds you! But, I digress….
We had a great stay, highly recommend and will definitely be back. Hat’s off to the management and staff for a job well done.
