We stayed in the Rio for 5 nights and fought off bed bugs. Upon arrival at home the suitcases and most of our unworn clothes had bed begs and now we are fighting off those that we carried back at home. The worst experience I have had at a hotel in Las Vegas. The covid shutdown has proven to be the worst thing for this property. It is clear that nothing was maintained.

I like the entertainment options provided. Very clean rooms. Variety of shops and places to eat or just hang out. I like the convenience of kiosks to check in and out. Staff is friendly and helpful. Taxis or ride share available.

Not a lot of difference between staying at a crack house in Compton then there is staying here. The entire place wreaks of marijuana and urine. We went to spend time with our son who is in the military. If you get up and leave your room towards the casino, there are homeless people who are just sitting propped up against the walls all over. We stayed on the 15th floor and we had homeless people walking our hallways asking guests for money as they were leaving their rooms. I got attacked by a dog thanksgiving morning walking thru the casino to go check on my truck, and nobody at the hotel cared at all. This is easily the worst place I've ever stayed at, and I've been in over 40 different countries. THE HOTEL DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR GUESTS OR THEIR EXPERIENCE. You will absolutely regret staying here, unless being surrounded by drug riddled people is your idea of a vacation. The rooms are not clean, or even uniform. BRING YOUR OWN PILLOWS. They ran out of pillows so you may get one or you may not.

The best thing that RIO offers is big rooms. There are a couple of things on the other side too. The rooms are old and need updating, We spent two days without hot water and it is obvious that they do not have enough people to keep the auxiliary stores and services, the pizza restaurant fro example, are only open on weekends. It is a long walk from parking to the room. The front desk is grossly understaffed. The checkin/check out kiosks did not work and with 40 people in line at the front desk instead, there were only two people at the desk.

The place is run down and only offers the bare minimum amenities. You can get what is average at other hotels but there will be an up charge. It was so bad we left a day early knowing we wouldn’t get a refund. If you want a nice cheap place to stay find a motel 6. At least you know what your getting before you show up.

Worst Possible Hotel We have ever stayed at!!!!! The place is a dump the staff doesn’t care anymore. The room are disgusting!!!! I can’t believe that Caesar’s would attach their name to it!!! The only plus is that anything that we did spend money on at least gained me some reward points. There was only one place to get coffee in the morning. However you had to be at it at 5 am so that when it opened at 6am you were not a mile away from the counter!!!! There were a few nice servers who took their jobs seriously… Thanks to them!!!!

The Rio is about as average as you can get for an off-strip Vegas hotel/casino. The rooms are huge, acceptably clean, but very worn and tired; for example the bed still had a 1990's style "bedspread" on it, and the hallway carpet and walls exceeded the quality of those inside my room. There have been rumors for years that this place is on the implosion list, and it appears that Caesars if fine with just letting the property set as-is until a final decision is made.

The Photo's online give the impression of a wonderful and beautiful resort until you walk into the doors. Check in was a nightmare with only (2) ppl working and over 20 ppl waiting in line to check in. Once fight to get to the elevators through the smokey part of the casino you enter your room and instantly disappointed on the decor and also the incorrect room with 2 doubles instead of 1 king. bathroom had wallpaper peeling, carpet was dirty, and the room smelled like smoke. only postive was the view.

This hotel is showing its age. No hot water most of the time. Only two, VERY small pillows on the king bed and when I requested two normal pillows, was told the hotel was "out of pillows". Hidden charges when we checked in and checked out. Disappointing experience.

Older hotel. Did self parking which was not convenient. Casino floor was confusing. Room was clean. 2 small pillows for a king size bed. TV at a weird angle to watch from the bed. Probably would not stay here again
