Excellent house keeping. Spacious rooms. Convenient shuttle to the strip. Ample free parking. Check in employees were up beat and accommodating. The online check out made it very easy on my day of departure.

Our room was indeed a suite, large and very clean. This hotel has been around for a while and you can see some chips on the furniture and mouldings, non the less it is well kept. The smell of smoke can be found in the casino air. The room has no coffee machine but there is a Starbucks in the...

I'll start by saying the staff were some of the most helpful and friendly that I have meet at a hotel. Plenty of parking was available. The gaming floor had of table games and plenty of slots. The rooms were nice and big, with a nice view of the mountains. The only thing I would say about the room would...

Our first time at the RIO as hotel guest was pleasant. We paid for early check in $20. as our flight was an early less expensive one. So, we wanted to catch up on our sleep before we went out to explore the hotel. The wait was surprisingly short, just after we were finishing up breakfast at Hash A Go...

I attended a conference there a week ago and was very disappointed. The hotel is run down and really cuts back on all amenities. I've stayed at just about every hotel on The Strip and was hoping the Rio would make an extra effort since it is far off the Strip. Some examples of the cheapness: No binder or paper...

I bought a Groupon for a one night stay that included a breakfast buffet. At check in I find out that they no longer have the breakfast buffet but I could go to the lunch buffet, which I couldn't use because I was checking out the next day before the lunch started. The registration staff told me there was nothing...

I was at the Rio for a convention. The convention center was a long trip from the hotel room so wear comfortable walking shoes. Ate at Pha which was awesome and American Bar&Grill for steak - prime rib and ribeye were tasteless and sent back to kitchen. The rooms are spacious and the bed is very comfortable. Small refrigerator is...

Great place to stay. Big rooms, great food, fun pool, what else can you ask for. Super close to strip with out all the traffic. I stay there every week now for business. Wine tasting room is always a plus.

We haven't been here in years and we were pleasantly surprised at what Rio has done to their buffet. They remodeled and expanded. And a great job at it. The food was very good. I remember they were good back then too. The price seems to have tripled since but I don't mind paying good money for quality food. We...

Over all is good. I will recommend it to friends and family who wants to have vacation here in Las Vegas. Just wanted to suggest that during weekends to schedule more of the cocktail servers, and some pit managers are not friendly and approachable enough, seems like they dont care if people leave the table because they cant understand the...

“If a room view is not important to you, and it shouldn't really be, opt for Mountain View rooms to save money. Who spends much time, awake, in a room, anyway? End of the hall rooms are the best, for quietness.”
