We were meeting friends on the strip for a few days but wanted to stay someplace off the beaten trail the first night in town. We did not arrive until 3AM because of air delays so the front desk gave us an extended 2PM check out time without us asking. Lady that issued us players cards was also very friendly. It was not real crowded or smokey and very clean. Room was very nice. VP machines were up and down but we both left as winners. You can't ask for anything more
Great place, friendly staff and people, very quiet being away from the strip, will stay there again, food great, garden is beautiful, slots seem to pay well, cost around $17 to Uber to the strip, restaurant staff very helpful, lots of security, nice to visit the real Vegas
2:45 on a lazy Saturday afternoon. Nine people in the bar. Bartender ignored all patrons. Everyone had to keep yelling at her for service. Over priced for a small country town. Won't go there again. Sour attitude as well.
Our family had a total of 3 rooms, 2 adjoining which we reserved and requested on Sam's Town's website. We'd stayed here several years ago, so we knew there were things the non-gamblers and younger family members would enjoy without the hullabaloo of the strip. Our 2 day stay was very relaxing.. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms clean and comfortable. The shower was AMAZING! Our only criticism would be they need something other than Dunkin Donuts for coffee - (maybe a Dutch Bros or Starbucks would be awesome?) and the Mexican restaurant was not enjoyable.
The room was great and we did have an empty fridge, clock radio and a coffee maker which we did not have in the other hotel. Sam's town is located quite a bit away from the strip but if you are like me, you would love the quiet surrounding. It is an older style of a hotel but well kept. Staff and front desk were very friendly and courteous. It is a good place to have a honeymoon. The Atrium in front of the front desk would make excellent photos with your wedding party. There is a Walmart nearby and few other restaurants that are located across the street from Sam's Town. So if you like quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of the strip this is THE place to relax and enjoy the trip to Vegas. Unfortunately this year there was no shuttle from Sam's Town to Harrah's. Maybe next year, I can only hope. I loved it at Sam's Town.…
Just returned from Sam's Town! Attended the Tribute Festival for Elvis, which was excellent. A real shame no signage or posters up for this event! We were expecting a Shuttle service, taxi is VERY expensive, surprised at the little choices for dining! Thank heavens for the fast food outlets. Resort fee was on the high side too! On positive side, staff were very accommodating and friendly.
We went to Sam's Town to celebrate a birthday and have dinner at The Angry Butcher. Nice inside and total locals vibe. Gotta say not the loosest slots in the world but had fun either way. The air conditioned covered courtyard is something to see and to witness the water / light show they have. Allgood! See my Angry Butcher review too.
After checking out a couple hotels on the strip and being completely overwhelmed and turned off by the environments and attitudes we ended up here and couldn’t have been more impressed. It was not overwhelmingly busy, there was every amenity you could need and then some, it was clean and unique. Rooms were modern and well cared for. Above all the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. This was the perfect spot for our family and I would absolutely recommend for someone looking for a more laid back, homey atmosphere.
Sam's Town is well-kept, staff is friendly, base price for clean room is reasonable. They have closed down the buffet and night club. Resort fee of $25 per night is exorbitant, and covers fitness center (not used and usually standard), coffee (undrinkable), phone calls (really?!) and internet access (which is standard at most hotels).
We arrived at Sam’s Town at 4 pm we were checked in by Vic aka The Bald guy 😂😂 his words not mine . His personality and energy should be bottled and sold for a million dollars. The minute he said hello he was so welcoming and when there was a problem with the shower ride he said it would be taken care of immediately and in less than a hour it was repaired. Across the street is a Walmart super convenient. Now let me tell you about security there was a older gentleman security officer who confronted my son in law who was watching 4 kids ages 7 months , a 2 yr old a 7 yo and a 13 yo they were in a corner Not a populated area and he told them the kids couldn’t sit on the floor. If they were in a area where people were walking that would be understandable so to him I say SHAME on you. Next time be a little more understanding at least they weren’t running around yelling and acting crazy . As far as the rest of security Bravo he immediately took care of people acting out including people who weren’t guest . And when a person on a bike looking in parked cars for treasures then immediately took care of it. I felt very safe.…
