Stayed here with a group of friends for a bachelor party. It was pretty central on the strip to all the major attractions. The bed was not particularly comfortable but everything else was what you would expect from a hotel. It won't knock your socks off but we did not stay here for the hotel itself. More the location to the other attractions on the strip.

Hotel's Favourite
I must admit I wasn't expecting much of this hotel after reading a lot of negative reviews but I couldn't fault it. We arrived on Sunday evening and there was plenty of staff on hand to help with check in. We had a king hip room with views overlooking the pool and the Bellagio hotel/fountain. The room was spacious with an iron, ironing board, hairdryer etc. I wasn't expecting any room cleaning or fresh towels but had room cleaned and new towels every single day of our 5 night stay. The hotel is very clean and modern with a good selection of bars and food halls and obviously you've got the miracle mile as well. We had a great breakfast in the Planet Hollywood cafe. This hotel is in an excellent location with a bus stop outside and within walking distance of all the major hotels. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We absolutely loved it.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view. We stayed on the 15th floor, room 1549. Good view of the Bellagio

Recently stayed at the Planet Hollywood for 7 nights first time in Vegas. Firstly by reading the comments on here I was dreading my stay. However, the comments on here could not be far than wrong as I only have good comments to make about the hotel. Check in was empty when we arrived at 14.00 checked in straight away however around a hour later the que did go long but emptied fast. The room was nice and spacious comfortable bed only downside was it was quite dark in the room. We had house keeping every day and clean towels were provided. Good location and good facilities in and around the hotel would deffo come back.

Which there was more lighting in the room and maybe add a minibar. Overall great trip wouldn't mind staying there again..worth the money and plenty of places to eat. A little wait at some but worth it in the end.

Check in takes place at machines that are all black in a dimly lit dark room...I couldn't see a thing! I felt frustrated as I tried to quickly check in and help the long line keep moving. Eventually someone came to assist and we got our keys. Our King Sized room had ONE King sized pillow and two small pillow. This can't be standard for a King room with two people. I called and asked for more pillows and was told that there are no more pillows. Ugh! Non in the closet either, not even an extra blanket or anything to use. The room was fine. Amenities were decent and the room was comfortable enough. The vents could stand to be cleaned but overall it was ok. We used the pool one day which was fun. Be prepared for Vegas prices for food and drinks but if you're going to Vegas, you already know! Overall I will chose somewhere else next time but for this trip, it was a convenient location to where we wanted to be.

Mom and I arrived at Planet Hollywood and were surprised to see the entrance doors did not open automatically, we had to really struggle with our luggage to hold open the doors.......as did all the other guests. Upon entering the "reception", we noticed a row of self serve kiosks......no staff to welcome and greet you. Once it was our turn, we had problems with the machine and had to walk around to find a staff to help us........as did other guests. This was quite a disappointment. The buffet was closed too, not sure if it's Covid related? We did like the texting with the staff when we needed anything and the rooms were large, clean and pretty quiet unless you're facing the strip and pool. Upon checkout we were given a $250 bill for their "resort fee" for 4 nights. Apparantly many hotels in Vegas have this but you can find much cheaper ones if you research. All in all, we had alot of fun going to some shows and Uber was extremely convient. We will go again but try a different hotel.

Room was fine, shower water pressure was terrible. But the fact that you only get two devices allowed to connect to their free wifi then you’re charged per device is ridiculous. What does the $52 a day resort fee cover then? And charging $30 a chair for the pool is ridiculous. These resort fees are getting ridiculous when you don’t even get anything with them.

I’m trying to be fair with my review because the casino was still a great time and the staff here work so hard. BUT the hotel expects their guests to check themselves in and the process is ridiculous. We checked in on our phones before we arrived thinking that would help but it does not. The line up moves very slowly because every kiosk is being used but also everyone was standing there waiting for the ONE staff member to come give them a hand. Our kiosk would not let us finish checking in because it needed a credit card for payment but we had pre-paid for our entire trip, so we waited for the front desk girl to come to us at our kiosk and she ended up just checking us in on her computer. Which is basically what she ended up doing with everyone. By the time people get to the kiosk they are understandably getting annoyed and then the kiosk doesn’t work properly! Not a nice way to start a holiday after spending hours travelling there! Especially considering the hotel makes sure to get their resort fees out of you before you leave, even though they expect you to check yourself in and out! It’s just not right for the hotel to expect their guests to check themselves in and it’s very unfair to the staff. I do not know how that poor girl managed to still remain patient and friendly because people were really cranky with her. Other than this, I think Planet Hollywood is an affordable place to stay in the middle of the strip. Friendly, hard working waitresses in the casino and fun atmosphere. Lots of restaurants, Earl of Sandwich is a great place for coffee and breakfast! Our room was pretty basic, but nice and clean! Really loved the huge bathroom! We did get housekeeping and they were great. So if you are looking for an affordable, clean place to stay I would recommend Planet Hollywood, just know not to expect great customer service. Not the fault of the employees, from what I saw….the hotel has cut back on staff. Still had a great trip to Vegas!

Lets cut to the only good thing about this place that I can say before I get stuck into it....it's in the centre of the strip....there that's me done. Expect to spend up to an hour checking into this place. The queue had about 60 couples ahead of us and easily another 40 of confused, desperate, dejected and broken-hearted souls standing at the electronic check in desks (some not working) wondering what they were supposed to do. I think they had two staff, that I could see, trying their best to frantically bring some sense to what was outright chaos. God love them! After almost a full day trying to get to Las Vegas on multiple flights this was a disgraceful start to a vacation that I had been planning for two years. You will pay an additional fee of 50 dollars a night, every night, over and above what you have already paid for your room. I have never been in a hotel that has never had free tea or coffee in the room. What they do have however is a Starbucks downstairs where you can pay ten fortunes for something that every other hotel gives you for free. Robbery! And speaking of robbery. We went to see two magicians called Penn and Teller but the best magic act happened later that night when we were robbed of at least three hundred dollars in the hotel. Even though we know that it happened within a time frame of about 5-10 minutes neither my wife nor I have been able to work out how it was pulled off!!! It happened either when we exchanged our money with a person at a cash desk or in the lift heading up to our room. I think the latter of those less likely. As I said within a very short time frame of only a few minutes. This is a casino with possibly, you would imagine, one of the best camera systems on the planet. We reported the theft to the hotel security team within 5 minutes of it happening and so far they have not bothered to get back to us with an explanation. Maybe it was the crew from from Ocean 11. I seem to remember that they pulled off a robbery in a casino and the owner of that casino was equally as clueless. I could go on, with other issues, but I think you get a sense of it I can honestly say that I have never stayed in a place so awful. As I said at the start if this place was a dog kennel we would not put our Yorkshire Terrier in there....we love him too much. Stay there at your own peril....you have been warned.

2.5 possible 3/5 Kinda weird they only gave us 2 pillows. So if you like more then two you definitely need to ask. Picture this, you arrive at your hotel excited for your Vegas vacation and you are met with a line of probably 50 or more couples. Many whom have no idea what’s going on.You’re not sure what’s going on either so you scout it out and discover that there are no person at check in time but check in computer stations. Some were clearly not working, others people were standing in front of one waiting for a person as they had specific needs that the computer couldn’t address. There was no line management people who were waiting for a person were sitting at machines others would go off outside the line and cut in front. Finally a person did eventually emerge from the back and was helping guests. Luckily, we managed to check in successfully after about an hour wait. That initial impression already leaves a sour taste in your mouth as it doesn’t feel personable nor does it excite you to start your vacation We get into our room and so far so good. We use the safe, put our valuables in and go out for dinner. We get back, safe does not work and gives an error message of course no one is in the hotel lobby, we decide to wait until the next day. Thankfully we find someone the next day and they send security to unlock our safe we go back to our hotel lobby as we are on the 6th floor, had a broken safe, the walls are peeling and it just wasn’t what we expected. We made it clear on our reservation that it was our wedding anniversary and it is not an obligation to get a better view or a better room but it speaks volumes of the guest services at PH. We did meet a human this time, but only after waiting in another long line up, one service worker was tucked away in the corner busily helping guests. I felt like finding a guest service worker was like striking gold. elora was extremely kind and understood our worries with the safe and the peeling walls and was given an upgrade to a room with a view of the fountain, we are externally grateful for her specifically for making our trip memorable. The view was lovely. Unfortunately the bathroom walls were peeling as was the bathroom ceiling. If you’re paying money for a room you’re expecting a room in pretty good condition, this room was alright but it does speak volumes when you walk into the bathroom and see a peeling ceiling. Casino floor smells like smoke, I visited every hotel on the strip and no where smelt like planet Hollywood if you are sensitive to scents this would not be a good location for you. I am not basing my review on the smell though as that is something that we chose I just thought I should mention to other people who may be sensitive to scents When checking out, we asked the front desk for masks, we expected maybe the hotel would give free medical masks for travellers but to our amazement she said no. You would think a hotel that caters to travellers may have medical masks on hand for the guests? Kind of wild that they didn’t. The pros of this hotel are as follows: It is on the middle of the strip It is connected to miracle mile shops. When guest service was found they were able to solve some issues. Cons: Guest service was difficult to find when problems arose. Guest service wasn’t very accommodating to guests Check in time was a nightmare Room was in avergae condition, but had noticeable damages Because of these points my score for this hotel would be average 2.5 3/5. Guest service check in time is the highlight on why my review is not higher.
