We have stayed at the Jockey Club multiple times. It is nestled right in the middle of the strip so you have access to all the casinos, restaurants, shopping, and night life, without needing a car. Buses are available to take you to Freemont Street....More
It is not cheap for what you get BUT it is worth it for the location. I personally like POLO tower better. It was nice to be close to both cosmo and venetian though. This would be a good option for a group

I don’t know what number room we had, but to be honest there was a wall, but it was the bedroom that looked onto the wall, and we only went in the bedroom late at night. In the morning the light still came through, but we closed the curtains, to ensure a lie in, so didn’t really notice the wall at all. Bonus was very private - nobody could look in!!!
