First time staying here after many years at the Stratosphere. Took a bit to get used having a windy maze low ceiling casino. Room was nice and quiet as requested - that was huge. Claudia on the front desk was great - no long wait for check-in The Brass Fork staff were excellent :)
Stayed here a week, our room was clean and housekeeping were very nice and polite! I haven’t had housekeeping service in a hotel due to Covid in a long time. We did not have a car so taxi and Uber became very expensive to get around and the hotel doest offer a shuttle anymore since Covid, doesn’t really make sense why. It is not a hotel you can spend the day exploring, it is small compared to strip hotels to keep you busy. Ate at most of the restaurants in the place. They could pour beer better and give stronger drinks for the price. Bed and pillows were comfortable, room could use a free mini fridge, not being able to bring back leftovers or have cold water was not fun. I would not stay here again just based mostly on the cost to get around. Also check in and out were long lines and not many people. Also being a non smoker the hotel had times it got overwhelming and we were on a non smoking floor and we could at times smell cigarettes and weed.…
Bathtub was filthy around drain. No tub handle to step over tub. No alarm clock. No safe in room. Bed felt like it was right on the springs. Pillows were rock hard. Machines were tight. Only stayed one night. Will not go back.
It's been almost 10 years since the last time I played at Palace Station, I normally stay/play at Red Rock. The dealers at the crap table were great, they stayed "in the game" (IYKYK), the tables were perfect for my roll, not a lot of bounce. High limit slots were loose, hit a couple small pots. I ordered room service, the belgium waffles were awesome. There was a line at the oyster bar almost the entire time I was there, around 6am it finally disappeared and was able to grab a seat - was really good...not sure if it would've been worth it if I had to wait in the long line. No complaints from me.
Stayed at PS many times over the last 5 years and found it great value Was going to stay at the Palace Station for a week in one of the Suite Rooms ( around £650 ) for the week but discovered ( by absolute chance - not because the Hotel had the decency to inform Me ????) that they have dropped the Shuttle service ??? If you don’t have or hire a car in Las Vegas then the Option of the Shuttle is the whole point of The Palace Station. - remove that and you remove a serious option and reason for staying there !! - not Rocket Science !! I cancelled when I found out they discontinued the Shuttle and booked Somewhere on the Strip ( which, incidentally, was £50 cheaper than the PS for the week ?? ) Won’t be returning to a Palace Station with no Shuttle Service - real pity because as a Hotel I thought it was great value and I stayed there at least 4/ 5 times ! Gotta tell you Palace Station that discontinued Shuttle is a pretty poor Marketing Choice given your proximity to the Strip and I won’t be the only one not returning or using the Hotel …
The room had only one set of fresh towels. didn't get a second set til the next day. Then received double sets. Front desk mistated that they only clean the rooms after you leave and checkout, However when i called to get the room cleaned, someone was sent. The checkin area reaked of cigarette smoke.
I had quite a nice stay at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas until I was attacked by the hotel’s cat- Boots @ approximately 10:45 pm on August 27th. I sustained multiple puncture wounds on my left calf and developed a severe lymphatic infection within 24 hours, and was prescribed multiple antibiotics. I’m sure the hotel will deny this fact, however, I have pictures of the food set out to feed the cat, and multiple statements from hotel staff claiming “the cat has been there longer than them.” Initially, I was treated by their “medics” WHAT A JOKE who gave me alcohol wipes and suggested I go to the hotel store and purchase myself some neosporin. At no point did anyone offer me compensation for medical bills, or even apologize to me for this traumatic event. Normally, I would say something like this is out of their control, but seeing that they knowingly allow a stray to roam the premises and FEED the animal, it is now their responsibility. God knows what bacteria and diseases I could have been infected with. I was asked for my name and room number and expected there to be some sort of follow up soon, as I was checking out very early the next morning. A few hours passed and I went to the lobby to ask for a copy of my incident report, and to my utter disbelief, one had not been done. I asked for a member of security to help me complete one before I checked out. That particular security member was pretty helpful, although unenthusiastic. I was told there would be a follow-up call by Sunday or Monday at the latest. On Tuesday, I called the hotel multiple times, was transferred, hung up on, and given the runaround. The most straightforward answer I have been given is that I will receive a packet in the mail in 7-10 days from their 3rd party insurance, that has no phone number or email they can be reached at. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel otherwise. It is a shame this is the note I left on and am rethinking attending the Numismatic Convention in November unless this is somehow resolved.…
The stay was less than pleasant. They charge $40 per day in "resort fees" and rooms do not have a fridge in them so you have to pay $10 a day plus fees for one. They nickle and dime you anyway they can. The amount of fees paid is more that the nightly room rate. The cafe food was average and expensive too. Would not recommend actually staying here. - Raquel J.
this was always the go to casino for locals as well as a lot of tourists, but because of their greed, they closed their buffets permanently claiming they made no money off of them, but that is false because most folks would play there and then eat there, then play and lose more, i was included in that group. so they DID make money from them. have not been back and i know of a lot of others who feel the same way. quite a shame that they have no loyalty to their locals.
Their staff is consistently friendly and helpful, particularly Antoinette at the front desk. I had a problem with my first room and she immediately resolved the situation. She even called later in the evening to make sure all was well. Terrific service!!
