I stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights. I have to say I was very impressed with the hotel. Very clear and the beach café food was excellent. My only tip is if you are staying in the towers than prepare for a lot of walking. It is far from the front and the pool. If you...

Hotel is located in the south side of the strip which we preferred as it is much more quiet and you can escape from the busy side of the strip. Casino is very small so I would only recommend for accommodation purposes. Bed was very comfortable, but very noisy rooms you can hear the neighbours coming in 4am and every...

After my flight was delayed late at night we decided to stay in Las Vegas another night. Hotel rooms were scarce and Tropicana was close so we tried it. I am an HH Gold member and was able to bypass waiting in line. Room was really nice. My daughter and I played in the casino and ordered late night dinner...

There are 3 sections to the hotel (Paradise Tower, Club Tower and Bungalows) and I've stayed at all 3. I would say the best option for couples would be the Paradise Tower and for families of 4 or more, the Bungalows are more suitable. If you are there for meetings then the Club Tower is where you want to stay...

Attended a conference in the hotel. While it was little bit of a walk (what isn't in Las Vegas?) to the conference area, we stayed in the bungalow so we could have a balcony and upgraded to the poolside view. It was truly worth little bit of extra money to do it. Yes it was hot and August but it...

We recently spent 2 nights at the tropicana, pleasant enough hotel, we went room only (which seemed to be the norm), but went down to Denny's just round the corner for breakfast. Rooms fine, perhaps a little dated, chipped porcelain in the bath, no tea/coffee facilities which is odd. Very central to the strip, opposite MGMs and New York New...

Just returned from a weekend in Vegas. This was my second stay at the Tropicana. The first in 2012 was great, this time average. I made my reservation in Dec of 2013 , but it doesn't matter when you reserve it's what time you check in that makes the difference. We arrived at 11 pm to find all they had...

This was my 7th trip to Vegas and decided to book through Hotwire. I will start with what I enjoyed about the Trop. Great Location, I upgraded to the paradise tower which was a great idea, very close to the tables and MGM walkway. The casino is great, fun dealers, good crowd, but not too crowded. Staff was very friendly...

Quite small by the standards of Las Vegas, the Tropicana is situated to the southern end of the main strip hotels although close to New York New York and the MGM. It is neither a "boutique" hotel nor large enough to have the variety of in house restaurants and attractions of the big boys. It does, however, have a reasonably...

I stayed at the Trop during a convention across the street. The room was comfortable, but several things detracted from my visit. 1) Housekeeping was spotty. I stayed three nights and on night #2, they made the bed, but didn't even touch the bathroom. 2) There was a periodic "wooshing/rumbling" noise (sounded similar to the jets taking off from nearby...
