Very friendly staff helped us check in and upgraded our room to the new remodeled rooms for just 10 dollars extra. We stayed at this hotel because of its proximity to the strip and my wife and I had tickets to see the Backstreet Boys...More
Check in process was smooth and the girl who helped us was lovely. We stayed in the Royal Tower. There was NOTHING royal about it. Our room had an odor that was unpleasant. The room was outdated, the view was terrible. We got to look...More
Some friends and I were there for a “guys” weekend starting Feb 14 2018. We stayed at the Excalibur for the first couple nights. It was pretty good over all. Check in was pretty quick. They have everything we needed and access to the strip...More
Nice hotel, clean rooms and helpful staff. We upgraded to the Royal Tower rooms for $10 more a night. I agree with other reviews that tea and coffee facilities should be included for the resort fee but we brought a travel kettle and got around...More

we paid $210 for 6 night's so worked out about $35 a room per night. im not sure if Excalibur has gluten free but i know mirage has gluten sweets and pizza. But you know your self the carverys are G.free sea food rice omelettes all G.free. so you wont go hungry . but as far as i saw they dont advertise other options like gluten, veggie, or vegan like we do in the uk . i never even saw a veggie options in any of the burger places. hope it helps. and if you play enough in a MGM casino and the end of the week go to the mlife desk and ask if you have made enough pionts for any free comps. ie.. free buffet or in my case my resort fee paid back. hope this helps.

Excalibur does not have a shuttle for hotel guests. There is a tram (free) that takes you to the Mandalay Bay/back. You can catch the Tram at the MGM across the street ($12 all day) that has multiple stops on the strip but it's a haul to get to the stations as you have to navigate through the hotels. Lastly, you can use the Kiosks on the strip to buy bus fare which is likely the most economical choice.
