Rooms are nice but cheap for a reason: We booked a “king suite river view” thru Trip Advisor but when we checked in were told “River view was a building that doesn’t face the river” Whaaat??? They did upgrade us because I whined a little. Main floor casino & bars are run down & dirty Bartender poured teeny tiny shots (2 drinks a piece cost us $20 in poker) The 1 cafe served mediocre food at best! Circle K has better coffee stations! Workers looked exhausted & uninvested. Machines tight!!!! NO ONE was winning!!!! Buffet? CLOSED Pool? CLOSED Hot tub? CLOSED Ice machine? BROKEN NEVER AGAIN! We will stay @ the Riverside!!!
Avi was great! Met needs of a family, kids got to have their fun along with us, we really didn't need to leave the hotel at all! We enjoyed the local area as well, was neat to see the Tri-State and the Colorado River. Hotel was nice, clean and fun! Staff was polite and there were many workers on the entire facility that kept things going and clean. I am looking forward to more stays here!
I got discounts by using Agoda. I was mad that they showed photos of this beautiful pool and it wasn't open. No warning on that. The beach is nice. Make aure you either get a river view or a high floor if you want a view. The room was renovated and very clean. I really liked the room. Panda Express was good. Subway was good. Feather Cafe was bad. Place was a bit smokey. Over all, still a nice stay.
Although I have never stayed there, but I have eaten there and the food is always delicious. The Casino has lots of options to gamble! In the summer they are adding an adult swimming pool. Right next door to the casino is a gas station and they sell booze, tobacco and fireworks.
Played many keno machines with wife there. Extremely low payouts on machines for both of us, now wondering if we will return. Free play given to customers is a joke! Too much smoke in casino. Cigarette ashes and ashtrays all around machines, disgusting.
The two night casino trip with family and friends was another success, The Avi do a nice job...wish the buffet would open again!!! A bonus for us golfers this year was the weather...seventies and no wind!!
We truly enjoyed our time here. Everything was great in this hotel. The room was clean, nice & smell fresh. The staff was helpful & friendly. We have luck with the casino as well. Would come back for sure to stay in the future.
Hotel has went downhill the last few years. Terribly expensive for what you get. No pool or hot tub working during our stay. No Buffett any longer, which was the only reason we ever went there. No coffee machines in rooms. No carts to self service luggage. Curtain rods in room were all broken and sitting on windowsill.
The Slots didnt seem to jip me. I was there for hours and got to play the whole time with not more than 140$ to put in. By the time I left, I cashed out just around $850. They had good games as well..
This place do not deserve the one star but it won’t allow me to move forward without one. It’s important that I share this. Checked in on Friday 2/17, our room is infested with bed bugs. We were on the 6th floor of beach tower. The room was dusty when we walked in, the AC wasn’t working. We had to call for someone to check fix it. While resting before our dinner reservation. These little creatures crawled on the white bedsheets. Yuck!! Made me feel itchy just thinking about it. Then they moved us to another room at a different tower. Low and behold the toilet is broken. Sigh!!
