Enjoyed a March 1-5 stay at Harrah's Laughlin as part of a Ceasars Rewards Air package. Based on advice of others, stayed in the South (adult) Tower. Can't comment on some of the negative reviews about the property, but my South Tower room was more than adequate (all the plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems worked just fine), the room was clean, housekeeping did a stellar job, and the refreshed elevators in this tower functioned perfectly. The casino was great; I saw a number of hand-pay jackpots being won by others in the casino. Restaurants were good, service was friendly, and although the weather was too cool to enjoy the beach, I did hang out at the adult pool deck for some sun. Tip: Use the river-based water taxi to visit the other hotel casinos. Final note: Laughlin is not Vegas---but that's okay. A lot of folks like the friendlier, more laid-back vibe here. Try it---you might like it!…
We brought the kids here to enjoy the river and have a nice relaxing time. Apparently they don't offer housekeeping on a regular basis. We were here 4 days. First day I noticed sunflower seed shells on the floor. We did not bring sunflower seeds. Second day, no housekeeping. We called, they did bring more coffee and towels. Third day, bed was made, everything replaced, floor vacuumed. Fourth day, no housekeeping at all. Called three times. We were told by a very rude staff that we were "on the list". I made the bed. My 12 year old granddaughter was looking at a slot machine while I was in the bathroom. Not trying to play it, not sitting down. Her grandpa was standing next to her. A staff really went off on her, enjoying herself way too much. Why did she feel compelled to attack a child when an adult was right there? The only friendly person we encountered was the guy who worked in the arcade. He was very nice to the kids and helpful. Pin up pizza was never open. Only saw one bar open. You know, if they're having staffing problems, say so, don't be rude. The kids enjoyed the beach, but not so great for adults. The lounge chairs were at such an angle I felt like I was sliding out. Water taxis don't stop here. They did come and fix the air conditioning on the second day. Family hot tub is permanently closed. They could not pay me to stay here again. I wish I could give this hotel a negative rating.…
The room was nice. Beds are comfy. Bathroom wasn't fully cleaned. Water spots on mirror, floor was dirty. Every drink at the bar was $10. Machines were ok, let us play here and there. Beach was nice too, boat dock was out of service due to flooding
Where do I start…I called multiple times to get a restaurant reservation for a group. I’m talking 10+ times. Each time I told them what I needed and was given a different response “you have to call group sales for that…you have to call the restaurant direct…I can only make reservations for 4 people….etc”. You have to get through multiple prompts to get an actual person, only to be transferred to another service with multiple prompts. Then there are the rooms. Yuck. Good view of the river, but so outdated, popcorn ceilings, and were so stuffy and humid. And the infuriating resort fee. I don’t know how hotels have gotten away with charging for amenities that should be included with the price of the room. Charging me for internet? And then limiting it to 2 devices or there’s an additional charge? Absurd. Overall, disappointing. We will try another hotel in Laughlin next time.…
We enjoyed the room as it was in the SOUTH tower, worth the $17 upgrade. Clean, with no smell of smoke, and looked newly redone. Would have given 5 stars, but the room was not ready and it was after the 4 PM check-in. So ended up in lower floor rooms with no view that were ready. They also held our luggage since we arrived at 3 PM. But then they mixed up our luggage and has to find it. Everything worked out.
We had a great stay at Harrah's on our way home from Spring Training in Arizona. We took some time to see our favorite baseball team get ready for the regular season, then drove to stay at our favorite place to play in Laughlin.
Me and husband only. Horrible!!!! Parking garage elevators did NOT work we are handicap, no handicap Available lower lever. Hotel hostess was RUDE and unfriendly. We left. Same day went.. NOW being charges resort and something FEES when it was a FREE room. SKIP the mess go elsewhere
The front desk person Zeboulan was excellent. I have been to many hotels but never had anyone remember your name whenever you went to the desk and he was there. He was very polite and helpful to all the guests. Thank you for hiring great staff like Zeboulan. We enjoyed our short visit this time.
Rooms are very old and outdated. Scratched furniture, noisy air unit, room wasn’t cleaned after our first day even after we called and hunted someone down for towels. Ice cold pool. Would not stay here again even with the comped rooms. The highlight was Joey in the Beach Cafe. Friendly, hard working, quick to check on us and always smiling. He deserves a raise.
Take a picture of what they say the price will be when you book!! The overcharged me at checkout, and then refused to refund the difference because I didn’t have proof of what it was supposed to be. I got charged for a movie we did not watch also. Called to see if the pool was heated before the trip and was told it was. Got there and it was not. My kids went in anyway, but I had to go to the adult pool to get towels.
