The Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall is the only hotel that offers a window and walkway just steps away from the river. Our room overlooked the river and beach but the room itself was old and outdated. The carpet was stained and dirty, the sink in the room was set really low, the bed spread was torn, the bed was...

We are in two room. One was ready and basically that seems to mean the beds were made. The other was not so they said they gave us a better room. The carpet in the BETTER room looked like the stains were left behind from a murder scene. The room with the single King bed was about the same and...

Recently stayed at the pioneer as we travel with a pet and they are allowed at this hotel..the room was very pleasant.. Clean smelling and comfortable... The bathroom was in need of some repair but for a pet friendly casino hotel..it was good.

We were in Laughlin for wedding. Picked the Pioneer because of price and the reviews seemed overall good. I knew the place was old, so wasn't expecting a lot We had booked a nonsmoking room, but put in a smoking room and from what I could tell was probably a pet room. Had strong urine smell. We seemed to be...

We stayed at the Pioneer one night in June 2013 on our way from Vegas to San Diego. We wanted a drive -up motel, not a high-rise. The clerk at the front desk was downright jovial in doing his job. We loved the pool and the riverwalk. The room was old-looking, it's supposed to lokk that way I guess right...

Well, the last time we stayed there in April, service at reception was terrible. We recently went back and they were very nice during check-in and check-out - very helpful. The first time, they must have had a bad-hair day at reception. The cafe was great and service was pretty terrific. The first night, we had the lobster special (YUM!!)....

I recently stayed at the Pioneer, and everyone had a great time. The pool is really convienent, there is an awesome buffet for breakfast; and they have great lunch, and dinner. The hotel staff are very helpfull. The river is a short walk behind the hotel, there is a small beach, and you can rent jet skis, and go boating....

I recently stayed at the Pioneer and we all loved it. The pool is conveniently close and its really late. The hotel had very friendly staff who ever more than helpful to assist us with our needs. Most casino tables are $5 minimum bets and the restaurant is reasonably priced. Great place to stay.

Stayed at the Pioneer with my family this past weekend and really enjoyed my time there. The staff is super friendly and efficient. The pool is great for the Nevada heat. Might I recommend trying the brunch buffet; it is reasonably priced, delicious, and there is an omelette chef there to serve you up whatever you like! I will definitely...

I recently stayed at the Pioneer Hotel and had a wonderful time. Considering the affordability, I could not have asked for a better deal. I will continue to stay at the Pioneer for all of my stays in Laughlin!
