The internet was not good, had a hard time just streaming movies and shows. The Ethernet ports in the rooms didn’t work, although the hotel has a kitchenette it has zero supplies to cook with. The room keys also had to be reset quite a bit, even after being careful not to put to close to a phone or anything magnetic. There was no continental breakfast, no pool or hot tub. They could really improve this hotel. If I’m the area again I would probably find a different place to stay.
Reliable and super clean. Quiet despite the busy neighborhood. Beds are very comfortable and shower has good pressure. Towels are new and do their job. Staff is super polite and helpful. This is our go/to hotel when one is available in the town
I just stayed here and my car was broken into. The hotel doesn’t have any cameras I. Their parking lot. The manager doesn’t seem to care. I called the corporate office and they don’t either. I paid more than $200 for the stay and my car was broken into and no one here cares.
I had just spent the night in another My Place Hotel in Wyoming. In Wyoming, the value and overall experience was very good. This hotel in North Las Vegas is off a main very busy street. It was also nearly $80 more than the same hotel room in Wyoming. The room was basically identical to that of the one in Wyoming, but it was considerably more expensive.
This is my 2nd year staying here. The price is great, but for me, it's more important that it's clean. The shower has great pressure as well. The checkin was seamless and I was was made to feel welcome. I will be back next year.
It thought that when I saw the strip of restaurants in front of the hotel that it was going to be a reasonably decent stay. After checking in, the hallway of the third floor smelled of weed, but given that it's legal in NV, there's not much that can be done. Having stayed at other extended stay properties, I assumed that cookware would be available, I was disappointed to find out that it would have to be purchased. The walls are very thin and so each night I could hear other rooms loud noises. On my 4th night, there was a brawl in the parking lot involving 10-15 individuals that ended with cars ramming into each other and other guests cars, while no cops were called. The next night, in the room next to mine a very loud verbal and physical altercation took place in which the family members were screaming and slamming each other into the adjoining door, again nothing was done. I checked out the next morning subsequently. I was supposed to stay another week. My credit card has been charged for the remaining days and the hotel will not respond to refund my money. Do not stay here.…
The bathroom was not cleaned, dirty used washcloth hanging, hair and partially used soaps in the shower, towels were covered in hair. I checked in very late at night so I was not able to ask for them to clean it. So gross, unacceptable at any price.
Traveling across the country with 2 large, but well behaved dogs when their owner is o tad bit OCD and money is something to be considered can be challenging. How I stumbled across My Place wasn't easy, but I'm sure glad I did. Rolling down the road 10 hrs a day, I don't drive, but I am in charge of research, and after spending a couple of hours, all I was finding was both "too expensive" or came with an exorbitant "pet fee", or both, in this Las Vegas corridor. Now, I get it that not all dogs owners are responsible and that dogs can do alot of damage, but that would not describe us. In o【ur case, we drive till we drop, as do our dogs. Why would I want to pay $100 for 2 dogs who enter a hotel room at 8 pm, lay down and sleep until 7am. At that time we all get up, load ourselves back to the car and drive away. I'm NOT going to pay those 100 pet fees, period! That's how I found My Place. Thrilled, but skeptical of the low room rate and low pet fees, we decided to take a chance. While completing the reservation, at the front desk, my husband asked to see a room, after which he proceeded with confidence that I would be happy with it. Indeed I was! The rooms were CLEAN, The bed was COMFORTABLE. It had all the necessary little amenities that make even an overnight stay more comfortable. And the dogs? They loved the spacious room where they could lay down and not fear getting stepped on. I loved the quite reasonable pet fee. Thanks for the pleasant stay, WE WILL RETURN…
First and last time I will stay at a My Place Hotel. Stayed one night and room was fine. Noticed in the morning the shower did not work. The water handle was loose and didn't do anything when attempting to turn water on. (surprised they didn't notice when cleaning the room making it obvious the shower had not been cleaned). I didn't have time to wait for a repair and reported issue to front desk at checkout. Was told they would see it the room rate could be discounted due to inconvenience but nothing happened. Awful experience.
They do not provide pots and pans for the kitchette. There was no hot water on the second day. How can you charge for a room and not provide the very basic services... We will not be utilizing this chain of hotels in the future.
