If you are a regular player here, you will probably get an offer for 2 free rooms a month from the casino kiosk if you check. You will also get two food offers. One is usually for $10 credit and another for $15 credit each month. So there is a lot of value here. The food however is kind of average. The casino is actually 3+. I never win here playing slots. I win playing craps, which is 5 dollars here. However, the rooms are really nice. You kind of expect old rooms here, but they are actually very spacious and really clean. You have a limited selection on cable channels and the input button wont work to let you use the roku or firestick. The beds are really comfy and the rooms have a refrigerator.. There is a gym and pool which are currentyly covid closed. There is a laundry and dryer on site for $1 each. Wifi in the rooms aren't that great with weak signals. There is also movie theatres on sale and fast food joints across the street if you don't want to eat casino food. They will ask you if you want service for your room upon check in.

My husband and I were traveling through Vegas on our way to Utah. There was an accident that had us sitting on the freeway for 2 hours, we finally decided to turn around and head back to Vegas around 11:30pm. We found the Cannery and pulled up driving a truck and trailer, concerned with where to park we circled the lot. A very helpful security guard showed us to the area for trucks and assured us there were several security officers out and our stuff would be safe parked there. As we went to check in we hadn’t booked quite yet. We stood in line and finished our reservation online, it hadn’t gone through yet by the time we got to the desk. Zena who was working the counter was so nice and offered to hold our bags for the next 20 minutes or so so we didn’t have to carry them around while we waited to get checked in. We were very impressed with the hospitality there. We’ve been to Vegas many times staying on the old and new strip and this was the best customer service we’ve had! Great job.

Local Las Vegas staycation. We are doing these, trying to give back to the economy. The Cannery? We wont be back. So, trying to check in last minute. Waited 5 minutes for someone to actually show up at the front desk. Online rate of $89, desk quotes us $119. Online site says to call for cheaper rate. Silly me... figured the front desk might be likewise enabled. Check in desk? Gong show. Rude people. Incapable. Not enabled. Rude, rude, rude front desk was totally unhelpful. Can’t match rate, I had to reserve online and then wait for the reservation to appear. This would have been tolerable except for the absolute rudeness of the front desk the whole time. You would think in the time and place when Vegas is hurting that anyone employed would be thankful. Any business would be grateful for your business. Not here.

Lured by current promotional offer and good reviews, booked room at the Cannery Hotel in north LV. Aware that a $14.68 hotel service fee is assessed (per night) in addition to room rate and tax. At check-in I was also requested to authorize $100 damage fee (on credit card) to be refunded at departure provided no damage. Seemed reasonable as know many party-goers visit LV. Rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious and comfortable. All amenities were available at lobby desk. As promised room was smoke-free with no carryover from casino. Be mindful that when you log on to WIFI you have your choice of free service or a faster speed for a fee. Don't select the wrong button. The free WIFI speed worked just fine. Hotel location also nearby to many eateries and Starbucks. Ready to rate our stay as 5 until check-out. Employee, Glenda, quoted total amount that included 2 hotel service fees for 1 night. Also said hotel fee would be deducted from my $100 security deposit and refund would take about 5 days. When I questioned she was unable to offer explanation for duplicate service fee. She responded to my repeated inquiries by saying there were other customers waiting in line behind me. Basically she wanted me to move along even though I was also a customer. Ultimately I surmised that due to their bookkeeping I should expect 2 charges on my card. One for the room rate plus tax. A separate credit for $85.32, my $100 less the $14.68 hotel service fee. When I continued to press for the explanation of a 2nd service fee she handed me the name/phone number to call for disputes. Too soon to see any charges but will be prepared to pursue if necessary. Was a disappointing end to a pleasant stay.

Despite road construction and traffic congestion around the hotel, I had a pleasant evening at the Cannery on Craig Road. My room was clean and comfortable, and hotel staff and maids were friendly and helpful. I like the Victory Cafe's homestyle food at reasonable prices, so I ate both dinner and breakfast there: delicious pot roast for dinner and huge blueberry waffle for breakfast. The movie theater has recliners, very comfortable. However, I resent having to pay the resort fee when I stay for just one night and don't even use Wi-fi. Parking is always free when I come there to gamble, so I shouldn't have to pay extra for parking when I stay overnight to gamble!
