Booked two nights and left after one. Noisy street and train, renovating, peeling wall paper, uncomfortable night. Service is good, they were able to cancel second night without charge and tried to work with us but hotel didn't have a high back chair my husband could sleep in. Usually Best Western can accommodate but could not at this hotel.
Entire experience was excellent. Check in was quick and friendly, the room was clean and well maintained, bed was comfortable, and shower was hot. Would definitely stay here again. Much better experience than the nasty hotel I stayed in the previous night, and the prices were within $35 of each other.
This is a nice hide out for staying in a place filled with much variety. You can take a deep breath and relax, all while viewing the Stratosphere, and also take a stroll into the Wynn resort. If you love to walk, you may want to start at this nice place!
After a 5 hour ride in it was very convenient and save us a trip out for dinner with the nice selection of frozen entres and snacks, The room was clean and quiet very comfortable and nice to have dual desks and a couch to relax on as opposed to sitting in bed
This property is located away from the main boulevard and surrounded by businesses itself, so at night it's very quiet. Close and straight shot to Nellis AFB. Also, there are a lot of truckers staying in this hotel because the CDL office is located close by. I don't know about fighter jet noises during the week days because my stay was during the weekend and very little flying by the Air Force squadrons on the weekends.
We found the hotel very clean and well kept. The room size was beyond our expectation. We were here for a festival and the location of this hotel put us close to everywhere we wanted to go. It's location is somewhat isolated therefore it was generally very quiet at night.
Unsafe area someone tried to steal my catalytic converters and it cost me $ 2000 to repair my vehicle. If you value your safety don't stay near this place. This is a very unsafe area I would never stay in this area again.
Very positive experience and we would stay there again. The location was a bit strange, but it turned out okay. It was a very nice hotel and and room was large and very welcoming. We enjoyed both days that we had breakfast there, as well.
This was the second time we stayed at this hotel, and we were totally disappointed this time. First, the beds were extremely squeaky. We had to try to lay still during the whole night because nobody can stand the annoying loud squeaky sound every time we turned or sat (gently) or got up and came back to the beds. We barely got any sleep. Secondly, the AC was impossible to set. It only runs a short time then shuts off before it gets to our desired temperature. We set it at 70 but we were covered with sweat all during the night. How can they call themselves Best Western Plus? It is worse than a Motel 6. For the positive side, the kitchen and cleaning staffs were friendly. Breakfast was good and room was clean.
We needed to make tracks towards Washington State, and Las Vegas was our best stop for the night (both outbound from and return to Arizona). We did not need to stay long, and had little interest in "we have low rates AND large resort fees!!" that you find at Casino hotels. That, plus we wanted to park close to our room and get gone when we woke up in the morning. This hotel fit the bill, and we appreciated having it just a bit north of the downtown area. It is NOT located in a sexy area, and is pretty much surrounded by business park type facilities. There also aren't any restaurants in walking distance (and barely in driving distance). AND...it is right across from a railroad track with considerable traffic. I'm making it sound less than desirable, but...it all worked. The hotel was fully functional, had a pool and fitness center (both decent), and a VERY good included breakfast with very friendly staff taking care of the room. The room was very quiet (remember the railroad? We were on the track side, and we barely heard a thing - never woke up from it all night). Bed was comfortable, shower/bathroom was modern and spacious, and the cable gave a lot of options to pick from. Parking was super easy, and we easily moved from car to room and back. So - if you want a non-casino/resort room in Vegas, and want it at a reasonable price with typical amenities - this is your place. We plan on staying here again (when we are just passing through). …
