They charge a housekeeping gratuity fee $3.00 a day, Resort Fee $15.00 a day, and a tourism fee $3.00 a day in unexpected expenses plus taxes.. SURPRISE!! We had an ok time but should have stayed at a nicer Casino Hotel with safer parking.

Thank you for the rating and feedback bustrorl. We are sorry that you were not informed when you booked your room about the Resort Fee. The Sands resort fee is one of the lowest in all of Reno. We do charge $1 Housekeeping Fee and a $15 Resort Fee. In addition, there is a city wide tourism fee of $3. Our resort fee covers many amenities that the Sands provides, including: • Choice of secure, covered parking or Valet service • Wi-Fi, available to our guests property-wide • Hourly airport shuttle service • Bell Captain & concierge services • Fitness Center & outdoor pool • Local & Toll-free calls We look forward to welcoming you back to the Sands soon.

Sands Regency has it all when it comes to comfortable rooms, delicious food and an enjoyable gaming experience. While it may not bee part of The Row, Sands provides a relaxing and fun alternative just down the street with nice perks for Players Club members. Give it a chance

The hotel is a blast for the past. Everything looks like it would have in the 80s. Things are quite dated in styles, finishes, and service. On the surface I would not recommend this hotel. The mattresses are of poor quality. The soap and shampoo were of poor quality. That

This is a review of the Sands Regency Hotel, and NOT the Casino, since we are not into gambling but were in Reno for other reasons.. On the whole, I would recommend the hotel as long as you are not bothered by cigarette smoke (including stale, second-hand smoke). Large, clean

Stayed here over night at New Year's and had a GREAT experience! Room was nice and clean as well as the common areas. Our room was a perfect view for the fireworks show and great gaming experience. We will be returning in the near future!

Pretty sure bathroom vent hasn't been cleaned since the Sands was built!
Water stain and sag in ceiling.
how late does the roulette table stay open if a few people are playing on it
Roulette is usually open until the graveyard shift. That's usually between midnight and 2 am. If we have customers playing we would keep it open as long as they wanted to keep playing.

Can guests pay in cash without using a credit or debit card?
I believe you have to provide a card to hold the reservation. Then you can pay in cash when you check in. But all hotels require a deposit and if you have cash you can pay the deposit in cash.

I'm so sorry I can't help you with your question. I drove my own vehicle. I had no use for any shuttles.

It is very unusual the Hotel charged you 30% in advance. I suggest you call the hotel directly asking why. In my case, I did not book directly with the Hotel, I booked through my bank's website travel service. I paid full amount in advance when I book the room, if I needed to cancel, I can get full refund if I cancel 72 hours prior to arrival date. The day I checked in, Sands asked me for a credit card, told me they would need to hold $75, but the $75 never actually charged through my credit card. I have a habit whenever I book a hotel room, I ask their cancellation policy.

I'd be surprised if they had a shuttle at this time of night. My question to you is, why would you want to stay at the Sands? I understand it's cheap, but it's such a horrible place to stay. If your planning a trip in July, you might have enough time to change hotels. One that would probably have shuttles running when you need them. Good Luck and have a good time.
