Booked room thru Reservations.com from Sands website. Room rate was shown as $33.00 per night. Reservations.com charged $107.25 to my VISA card which I was told included taxes and fees. When I checked in the hotel charged another $71.80 that they said was a deposit and pet a fee of $20/night. When I checked out I was told that the...

Had comps for a free room. Great stay. Even though our room was right next to the elevators and you could hear them zoom up and down. Actually nice to be by the elevators. Anyway not a problem for us. Nice room very clean. Good bed. And we can take our dogs they are part of the family. We will...

I spent the weekend of 3/31/2017 to 4/2/2017 at Sands Regency at Reno. There was a loud drama between the tenant of a room on my floor with hotel security at 5am. Both hotel security and the tenant were shouting loudly -- the whole thing lasted 10-15mins. In the end, both the security personnel and tenant walked again shouting/screaming at...

My fiance and I stayed at this hotel because we decided to go up to the snow last minute, the staff was slow and not exactly friendly but they got the job done. Room was what you would expect for the price but once in the bed we noticed we couldn't stop scratching.. We thought maybe it was fleas but...

I was feeling a little bad about not having as much fun as I thought at first we would, but when we got here!!! I was still wearing my veil, and sat at their slot machine and WON over $300.00! Thanks Sands!

Pros: - the hotel is centrally located - there is a great burger place inside (Mel's) - it's dirt cheap Cons: - rooms are very old and poorly maintained (even though they are not dirty) - the casino is not very inviting

If you want a cheap room in Reno then this is the place.....However, you get what you pay for. Casino has an odor, more than just smoke. Hotel room has thin walls - we could hear our neighbors conversations is if they were in our room. Hard bed. Mold in the bathroom. Elevators are in bad shape, in fact only...

Run-down with sleazy characters all over the place. The building was so saturated with cigarette smoke that it seeped into our otherwise "non-smoking" room. Elevator to garage out. Couldn't wait to get out of there.

I stay here several Weeks in the Year for business. rates are great and food is good. Mel's Diner has slowed down since I started staying here a few Years ago. The staff is really helpful and friendly. Their rooms are large and clean. Beds and pillows are very comfy.

I stayed for a night with my boyfriend just for a getaway. We drive for four hours and were beyond tired when we arrived. We checked and went straight to sleep. Woke up in morning and the first thing I seen were beer bottle caps under tv stand. I went to.the.bathroom and while walking by door I seen something that...
