Current owner is the grand daughter of the original builder/owner of the Mizpah. Located in an old Nevada mining town. (The old mine sits behind the hotel.) Rooms are large with high ceilings and beautifully renovated. Bed was comfortable. Small problem on the upper (4th) floor maintaining shower water pressure. There is also a ghost walking the the top floor...

My husband booked this hotel because the price was right and we needed to stay somewhere because we were driving for many hours. Ana how surprised we were when we went to this hotel! It's like getting into gold rush times! The setting is perfect: small town, no or little traffic, old building, dressed up workers, the interior is like...

This is a great, restored hotel that is a real gem. The lounge is worth sitting in for hours. The restaurant was friendly and the food was good. It transports you to the old west with class. If it were on a travel route that I took more often, I would stay here as often as possible.

Really lovely hotel, beautifully decorated in traditional style. Incredibly helpful, friendly staff and a good restaurant on-site. Free parking adjacent to hotel. Also has a resident ghost apparently, make sure you read the guest ghostly comments books at reception. Spooky! The rooms don't have a fridge or tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms but you can request a fridge and...

Stayed at Mizpah enroute from Tahoe to Vegas. It was truly an experience stepping into the opulent lobby and feeling transported back in time to the days of the Wild West (is that a bullet hole in the lift door?). That we checked in in the dead of the night with the Mizpah incandescent sign blazing up above us, made...

Love the Mizpah! Our room was romantic, clean, and filled with antique-y furniture. We were hoping to see the Lady in Red (the resident ghost), but no luck. The restaurant was okay for breakfast (we ended up walking the couple of blocks to the brewery for dinner) but the bar at the hotel was nice and the people were very...

We stopped at The Tonopah Mizpah Hotel on our way to Fla. from CA. Great old and historic hotel built in 1907. We had a great suit with a stagecoach king bed and Rolex gold bath fixtures. Very comfortable and clean. Really took us back in time. Fun and lively bar with live music and good food. Sorry we could...
