I called to reserve a room 2 months in advance and checked online with web site showing they had rooms available. I called the cleark and she said they were all booked up. I called again nand said your website says you have rooms. She again said I am sure there are no room. My friend, a female called and... More

This was my first experience at this motel and it was a pleasant one. The building may be old and it doesn't look like much, but I can recommend this motel as one of the cleanest I've ever had. You can tell that the management really cares about the little things that can make a motel room seem more like... More

When I first walked into our room, I said "Wow!"...For a very reasonably priced hotel this was much more than anyone can ask for...Very stylishly furnished with a room divider and fireplace and very comfortable bed and chairs...Was very pleasantly surprised...Staff very nice...Would recommend to anyone!

First, Tonopah is a remote mining town so anything in the desert would be a welcome respite. Second. The hotel is spacious and clean. While the decor is dated, the hotel contains all the basic amenities.. If I were called back to the area, I would select and recommend Jim Butler Inn and suites.

We thought this time through Tonopah, town of few choices, we should try the Butler Inn based on reviews on Tripadvisor. This place definitely shows its age outside and inside. We stayed with a senior rate on the 2nd floor in a single bed room. It was a 'put together of odds and ends' old furniture, a phony fireplace, a... More

We had a stop over here coming from Reno heading for Death Valley. It is an old motel but the rooms (with dark carpets) are spacy and the bathroom functions. The aircon functions very well and there is an ice machine as well as a slow wifi. A simple breakfast is included - just coffee, white bread and outdated bananas. The... More

My wife and I stopped at the Jim Butler both ways when we drove from Sacramento to the Canyon National Parks and back to Sacramento. We stayed in Room 20 both times. The room was large with comfortable beds. The room was appropriately priced. There is a small continental breakfast available. The television options are limited, but Wi-Fi is free... More

We stayed at the Jim Butler Motel. It sits on the main street but is quiet during the night, no traffic. Grandma type furnishings makes it homey. Potpourri hangings silk plants, wall paper, Not the newer type, but clean.

Can't really be picky in a town this small, but this place had the world's hardest beds! The staff was very nice--even recommended a nice place for us to have dinner--and I had no other complaints, so I feel badly about saying anything negative, but they really were uncomfortable. I've stayed in over 200 different hotels and slept several nights... More

Unfortunately we made reservations the day before we were to go through Tonopah and this was the only wothtwhile non-smoking place available. The check in clerk was very friendly and room was fairly clean. Bed sheets were clean and beds comfortable. Our room was right next to the Mizpah and during the night there was a single noisy vehicle that... More
