We love the Silver Queen!! The owner is friendly and is always giving helpful advice in what to do and where to go. While we were there on my Birthday we witnessed a happy new couple's marriage in the chapel there :) The owner was dressing her in beautiful vintage clothes , helping with all the last minute details. The...

While we didn't stay at this hotel, we spent a long time walking around and looking at all the history, from the dress made out of 3,261 silver dollars weighing 210 pounds, to the old stove from the 1904 St. Louis worlds fair, to mark Twain, to the captain and Tenille getting married there in the small wedding chapel, etc. it...

What a great place. My husband and I came to Virginia City for the Steampunk Ball and we thought this would be the best place to stay to continue our time travellers journey and the Silver Queen did not disappoint. Our room was just like the pictures from the 1880's, size, furniture, fixtures, bathroom and all. The owner, Connie, and...

I was excited about my summer paranormal trip. The Silver Queen was definitely on the list. When I arrived it was crowded. It took 20 minutes to get my door key and my info. At that time I was handed a set of ear plugs. Turns out I would not need them. My room was on the top floor. It...

In the summer of 2012 my wife and I checked into the historic Silver Queen hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and polite. We stayed our first night in room 3. The room was small with a double bed and had one bathroom with a shower stall. It was very clean and charming. The rooms at the Silver Queen are...

My daughter and I stayed in room 7. Upon entering the hotel you definately feel as if you are stepping back in time. The room was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful! We took the Bats in the Belfry tour which was awesome. We had many ghostly encounters. When we first got there I was talking...

Traveled in July with family to Virginia City - loved the old town and wanted to experience the Old West so we booked a stay with the Silver Queen. The hotel is obviously dated but not in a good way. The rooms were large enough but the linens need updating as well as the carpet and curtains. If you have...

We stayed at the Silver Queen for the fourth of July weekend (3 night). The room was very cozy a little on the hot side the first night, but we opened the window and had a nice breeze to cool it off the next two nights. We experience no ghostly activity in the Hotel. We did catch a ghost tour...

Unsure of what to expect, and trying to avoid getting our expectations up, we recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at the Silver Queen Hotel for two weekend nights. We came in at about 9 pm, a quick jaunt over from Reno but still world's away across the Geiger Grade, a windy but panoramic road with outstanding vistas at...
