Yes, you will want to go there! It is spectacular, it is historic, it is genuine and it is comercial. And if it was not comercial it probably would not be there today ! The roads there is a change from the Nevada highways - you 'll enjoy it !

The Inn was immaculate, the staff very helpful. The updates to an old motel were well done. We stayed in the Paiute Indian Room. The bed was comfortable and the room while small, met all of our needs.

We stayed in the Miner's Room, which was a reasonable size. The rooms all have a 'theme' which you may find interesting. The bed was comfortable and the linens were pretty good. The room could use a stand in the bathroom to put toiletries on and also someplace to put your luggage. There was a fridge, no microwave. The motel...

My wife and I and another couple rode our motorcycles to Virginia City for a couple of days. This hotel is about 6 blocks from the downtown tourist section. The room was small but comfortable. There are no clothes hangers or a bar to hang them on. The bed was comfortable and the tv is nicely sized with good channel...

My husband and I were very comfortable at this little place! The owner was very friendly and accommodating and the rates are reasonable! The place is probably older but it's clean and well cared for. Not to mention an awesome view out the back window! Would stay again for sure, and I'm not an "old motel" person at all. For...

We were giing to stay at the Sugarloaf Mtn Motel and Market. We called ahead and were told by the owner that we couldn't check in until 7 pm as he was going out of town and would not be back until then. So we walked around town for a couple of hours and had dinner. We went to check...

Was very glad that others had reviewed the Virginia City Inn on Trip Advisor as we planned to stay there one night on our way home from a road trip, but I wasn't sure if we'd find any place that wasn't run down or just plain uncomfortable. The Inn is just as others have described it. The rooms have been...

Stayed here recently. The hosts were lovely and helpful people and the rooms well decorated and comfortable. The rooms have views, microwaves, coffee makers, and refrigerators. The downside was that the walls are thin and the AC units loud. My neighbor's unit kept cycling on and off all night and it was hard to fall asleep. Then at 1:30 am,...

The motel sits in an enviable position at the to of the Main Street in Virginia City with far reaching views. We had the Anniversary/Honeymoon suite number 11. It was spacious with a lovely large bathroom. The king size bed was so comfortBle with good quality linens. The room is on the corner so there are two windows which open...

Stayed here for one night. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Nice view of the town and hills. Had a flat screen tv. The hotel sits on the edge of the main town area on the way to Gold Hill and across from the 4th Ward School. Not a bad walk to the main part of town....
