Hello Abbey, yes, the beach is open.....the dock for the riverboat cruise is on the property, so there can tend to be a lot of activity during the summer....i'd say the beach is 300 yards long...20 yards wide..water is crystal clear and refreshing cool...be careful walking barefoot under the pine trees.....the cones have a really sharp tip that will stick you good if not careful....

They have coffee makers so you can use those to make tea. They also have microwaves to heat your water for tea.
