We stayed in the Wild Turkey room for a romantic birthday weekend and couldn't have made a better resort or room choice. The room had beautiful views of the mountains, and being able to walk through our patio door to the patio's hot tub and gorgeous back yard made us feel even more secluded than we already were. It was...

This is the perfect B & B property and location! Michael and Carol are fantastic hosts, the lodge is beautiful and the breakfast fantastic. There is a wonderful ambience here and we met some really lovely people. There are great social spaces and areas for relaxing and playing games. Michael has very good local knowledge and can recommend great walks...

We had the opportunity to stay in the Wild Turkey Room for a impromptu romantic weekend getaway. The room was very clean and the jacuzzi and fire place in the room made for a romantic and rustic retreat. The breakfast was wonderful with beautiful views to overlook. While we enjoyed exploring the area, we were very happy to spend time...

The Lodge is cozy, warm, and inviting! Michael and Carol are excellent hosts - Michael was waiting for us to arrive and gave us a thorough review and explanation of everything. We stayed in the Moose room - such pretty mountain views. We went winter hiking both days and used the outdoor hot tub after which was great on sore...

Even though we always go to BML in the winter every year, it would be a wonderful experience any time of year. The snow was beautiful this year, and we had a scenic snowshoe adventure on the BML property down to the river. Moose Hollow is our favorite room and was perfectly cozy for our 3-day visit. Michael and Carol...

Our stay at the Bear Mountain Lodge lived up to expectations after searching for a comfortable and romantic getaway. When the property is first viewed approaching on the very secluded drive, it is obvious this was going to be the exact place to enjoy our stay. Entering the lodge, the view of the great room and the warm comfy fire,...

Owners are lovely walls are thin. Stayed in the bear den room 300 bucks a night. You can hear people coughing through the walls. Unfortunately, we could also hear everything from the intoxicated couple who loudly woke us up when they returned at 130 am. The thin walls then subjected us to 45 minutes of amorous activity. Will not be...

We are so sorry that the intoxicated couple next to you decided to be inconsiderate and be extremely noisy when they got back in at 1:30 am (that is very rare as nothing is open that late here in our area). This is not typically the case as most B&B guests have respect for the other people staying at a...

We recently stayed at Bear Mountain Lodge for 3 nights during a trip to New England. The lodge is very comfortable with amazing views of the surrounding countryside from many rooms. Carol and Michael were excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome in their beautiful lodge. Carol's cookies were delicious and her breakfasts were also fantastic. We particularly enjoyed...

Just off the road, this lodge is set up with all the comfort you could wish for. The rooms are very large and each has their own bathroom. The common areas are equipped with a nice stove for cold nights and games to keep you entertained. The view from the back porch is stunning. Breakfast is cooked each morning by...

Wonderful lodge, great location for touring the White Mountain NF area, spacious and comfortable rooms, grand common areas, splendid views from the back deck. Michael and Carol are very welcoming and made us feel right at home. Michael got the fire pit going on our first evening there, which we enjoyed while stargazing on a cloudless night. We only had...
