I liked the Bear Mountain Lodge, especially the fact that it was off the road, very rare for accomodations in this area. It's in a very pretty setting, and the innkeepers are eager to please. However I do think it was overpriced by about 30% (for example $300/night for a room during peak foliage)! We enjoyed our time there ....

We're so happy that this guest had a nice time and appreciated how much special attention we give to all of our guests. As for the reference to the $300 a night during prime foliage - it is common practice in all foliage locations throughout New England to have an increase during that time. We do have rooms that are...

We spent one night in the Angler Room at Bear Mountain Lodge - what a special experience! Every room is decorated with a unique "mountain/wilderness" theme - but each is decorated with great detail this lodge, which is only 5 years old. Even the bathroom shower curtain and decor match the theme of the room. There was no expense spared...

Beautiful log house built recently by the owner Michael. He was very hospitable and entertaining. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms but it was still excellent, very warm and charming. There was great views of Mt Washington from the balcony. It was very pleasant to sit in the lounge by the fireplace in the evening after a day...

My new husband and I came across the website for BML in April and quickly changed our wedding plans so that we could be married there in August. We were not disappointed, everything came together perfectly. Michael and Carol were SO kind and helpful and took care of so many details for us. Everything was all we wanted it to...

Well positioned relative to Mt. Washington, Crawford Notch and other sights. Clean and comfortable accommodations, good breakfasts. Amazingly large logs in the walls surprisingly lets sound through. The Angler Room suited us fine. Nice touches are the cookies in the afternoon, a laptop for use late afternoon and evening. Hosts Mike and Carol are friendly and helpful, making dinner reservations...

My husband and I spent 2 lovely evenings at Michael and Carol's beautiful B&B log cabin. They were waiting by the door to greet us. The Elk room was accessible and my gluten free diet was accomodated with every meal. The view of Mt. Washington and nature is unbeatable and you could relax in the Great room any time of...

It was such a treat to stay in an authentic, yet refined, log cabin, with an awesome and inspiring view of the White Mountains. It doesn't get better than that setting. It was by far the best bed and breakfast we have stayed at, including Hawaii, and we have stayed at many! The interior was warm and inviting, each room...

We love the way the lodge is being built and decorated. The rooms (Cowboy Roundup and Whitetail which we stayed for 3 nights) are superb, clean and comfortable. The breakfast served was delicious too. Would recommend to anyone who love to be close to nature.

Spent 4 wonderful days in Bear Mountain Lodge. The rooms were spacious and very well equipped. Our host Michael provided us with lots of invaluable tips and hints where to find interesting hiking trails, how to get to those places, where to find wildlife etc. He and his whole family did everything to let us feel comfortable and "at home"....
