Very nice accommodations! Staff was attentive, helpful and very pleasant. Beautiful setting both inside and out. Beds were very comfortable with high end linens! The Inn's restaurant was very convenient and the selections were abundant. Both dinners were delicious!

Not quite sure if this hotel gets a thumbs up or a thumbs down. Our room was not available until 4:30 PM so we wandered the older area where the hotel is located. We thought we could wait in the restaurant which is part of the hotel but it didn't open until 4:00. The designated parking area for the hotel... More

The Common Man is a boutique hotel with 30 unique rooms. They took an old textile mill building right on the Sugar River and created very interesting, large, and comfortable rooms leaving the old exposed beams, stone, and brick walls. They kept the narrow maple strip flooring and have extensively used oriental rugs throughout instead of carpet. The beds are... More

Stayed here 1 night and the staff was extremely polite and pleasant. Like a bed and breakfast as it was so personable. The rooms are very well kept much like an upper end hotel! Also it was very quiet. It is right along the water which makes it a very pretty setting. The restaurant is very nice also. This is... More

Very nicely restored historic old mill. Rooms nicely appointed. Good menu in nice restaurant overlooking river. Easily the finest choice in Claremont. Friendly and helpful staff. I have stayed here three times and would gladly do it again.

This hotel is certainly the best in the area. The rooms are part of what was originally a textile mill along the Sugar River. All renovated and tastefully done. We booked a standard room on the Street side. It was large, clean and comfortable. However, it shared a wall with two elevators; and the noise from the elevators at night... More

My wife spent a wonderful night here. We were in the area for a party and decided to stay the night. The hotel is in an old textile mill along the river. We had a Conor room that was very large with views of the rover and the waterfall. We kept the windows open and got to listen to the... More

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary here and had a wonderful experience. The room was very clean and charming with much of the "old mill atmosphere" still apparent. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent. The front desk staff, wait staff and restaurant manager made us feel very welcome and special. We will certainly be back to enjoy the comfort, charm... We spent one night here. The king room on the river was a good size and very nice--good beams, exposed brick, comfy bed. The view over the river was lovely. The lobby space is great and the continental breakfast was quite good. We ate at the restaurant which has an amazing space and a great eating area outside on the... More

We stayed here on two other occasions and had good experiences so we decided to come back for our 15th Anniversary. I was VERY DISAPPOINTED :( We spent over $300 on a suite by the river. We had a private hotub and courtyard. This would have been a nice amenity if there wasn't a 15 ton air conditioning unit running... More
