My wife spent a week plus in New Hampshire earlier this month. We started out trip with a 2 night stay at the Darby Field Inn. The inn is a short distance from Conway and just barely off the Kancamagus Highway. The Inn is and older building and does have some charm but it also shows it age. We were... More

I appreciate your taking the time to offer your honest review of the Darby Field Inn. It's our goal to offer a unique, casual, and relaxed experience to our guests. Unfortunately, the inn isn't for everyone, and we don't always succeed. This is an almost 200 year old building that ALWAYS needs work! I'm glad you enjoyed the fireplace in... More

My favorite B&B thus far! The property is beautiful situated on gorgeous acres in a quiet and tranquil area. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and the food was EXCELLENT! We enjoyed meeting people in the cozy living area too! Stay here! You will not be disappointed!

My wife and I had a nice romantic dinner here one evening. The atmosphere was very quaint, the service was excellent. There was a nice view at sunset and the lounge was very cozy. Now for the food.....to die for. I started with a bowl of seafood chowder that was chock full of seafood and delicious. My wife had the... More

I really appreciate you taking the time to review the restaurant at the Darby Field Inn! I am super excited to share this with our chef, Dave! We have a one man kitchen, and he really hustles back there, so it's always great to give kudos where they're due! I always say, dinner at the inn is more than a... More

Stayed 2 nights in September and it was perfect! The inn is located off the beaten path, so is quiet and tranquil. The grounds are beautiful! Only 3 couples were there the first night, and we all relaxed in the living room, enjoying each others' company. Breakfast is cooked to order and served at tables overlooking very busy bird feeders.... More

Hello Mary, I'm so glad we were able to win your husband over! The benefits to being off the beaten path are numerous, but I'd have to list the bird watching as one of my favorites. I have learned the names of so many resident and migrating birds in my ten years at the inn, and I'm always thrilled to... More

We came in late on a Thursday, about 8:30. The restaurant was already closed, but we had a drink in the bar, before heading up to our room. The common areas were nice. The next morning we had breakfast (it was just ok) before heading out to see the beautiful fall color, waterfalls and covered bridges. The B&B is in... More

We loved this property. Had a great room with fireplace, couch and outside balcony (#10). The best parts were the service and food. Breakfast was included. We had two nights dinner and it was fantastic along with the ambience. Mark the innkeeper was helpful in giving us ideas of places to go. We will return

It's so much fun staying in an inn where the innkeepers create a feeling of home. My husband and I enjoyed two nights at the Darby Field Inn. We loved our third floor room (no elevator, but worth the effort) with it's cosy couch before a gas fireplace (and TV). There's a long view over the mountains from many of... More

Everything about this inn is wonderful, from the warm and friendly welcome on arrival to the point where one sadly has to leave. We booked one night in September at the Inn. Everyone was very welcoming. The views were awesome, the room was just as expected and the breakfast was very good. Maybe a little bit pricey for that time of year (in between seasons) but would still recommend.
