We loved this property. Had a great room with fireplace, couch and outside balcony (#10). The best parts were the service and food. Breakfast was included. We had two nights dinner and it was fantastic along with the ambience. Mark the innkeeper was helpful in giving us ideas of places to go. We will return

Hello Louise, I'm really glad you enjoyed the food and service while you were here! I know smelling all the food cooking in the kitchen in preparation for dinner are the most delightful AND torturous hours during my day! ;-) I am thrilled to share your review with all the kitchen staff as a "job well done!" I hope you...

It's so much fun staying in an inn where the innkeepers create a feeling of home. My husband and I enjoyed two nights at the Darby Field Inn. We loved our third floor room (no elevator, but worth the effort) with it's cosy couch before a gas fireplace (and TV). There's a long view over the mountains from many of...

Everything about this inn is wonderful, from the warm and friendly welcome on arrival to the point where one sadly has to leave. The location is unbeatable, being situated in a beautiful remote woodland setting high above the start of the Kancamagus Highway. The uninterrupted views of the White Mountains from the bedrooms and restaurant are sublime. The owners, Marc...

Highly recommended if you like a picturesque and quiet getaway in New England. The inn has lots of character and the staff are welcoming and attentive. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. The fireside lounge and bar area are cozy and comfortable. Bedrooms pretty. A totally excellent stay. Nearby walks and drives to admire the fall colours were amazing. A...

We booked one night in September at the Inn. Everyone was very welcoming. The views were awesome, the room was just as expected and the breakfast was very good. Maybe a little bit pricey for that time of year (in between seasons) but would still recommend.

Off the beaten path. This was a comfortable and quiet inn. Small with just a few guests when we were there. Lovely view of the mountains. Fantastic breakfast. Good if you want an out of the way place to stay. There was not much in walking distance Conway was ok. Very touristy with lots of resorts.

We were on the Bike The Whites cycle tour. Very glad of the pool to cool off in. The room was clean, bed comfortable, local walk nearby good. Bar was nice, hummingbird feeders on the windows were great! Pool area was nice, owners were charming, food was really good, especially breakfast pancakes. I would recommend the place.

Hello! I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay with us! The Bike the Whites Package has been very popular this Summer and Fall...we have met some wonderful people from all over the continent! Winter is great, too. Nothing like snowshoeing on our trails then back to the inn for hot beverages in front of the fire! I hope you make...

My husband and I traveled to the Darby Field Inn last month for a two night get away. Carol 'jack of all trades' greeted us and showed us around the Inn, which made it feel like our own home.
