I want to thank Rick the desk manager who went above and beyond for my family. He helped us to get into a sold out Thanksgiving dinner at the Inn when we had no other options for meals that day. We were there for my son's wedding and had traveled from Ohio. The trip had been intense, but the Inn... More

Went for an overnight because of my Nephew's wedding, Elevator is very small, we we're on the 3rd floor, Room was alright double bed, the bathroom had no vents, had to keep the door open! I found out they only put one tiny soap in each room for shower and washing hands lol! We ate breakfast the next morning, was... More

We stay at the Exeter Inn often - The Exeter Inn is a great getaway - clean comfortable rooms- nestled in a Victorian era neighborhood with a short walk into town - so relaxing - The restaurant is a bit expensive but the food is delicious no matter what you order - for more casual dining you can get small... Let's start with the good things. The restaurant is excellent, the bartender Is great, Overall the customer service was very good. The location is great. This was our second stay at the Inn. Maybe we just had a bad room. I don't remember the room being that bad the first time. The room was dirty (especially the bathroom). We felt... More

This hotel is a classic hotel with so much charm. Our friends and family rented several rooms and each had their own touches. They had several updates in the rooms but the rooms still possessed all of its original charm. We ate dinner in a private area but the service was so super slow. Bar patrons were getting their food... More

This review summarizes our wedding reception at The Exeter Inn in October 2016. The New England charm of this venue had me hooked instantly. Laura, the events coordinator, is an experienced professional who has perfected the recipe to arranging a flawless function. She was always reachable by phone or email. Pretty much every request of ours was met with a... More

This hotel could be really great with a little updating. It is charming and cute but needs painting and updating. Has a weird musty smell. And wallpaper and paint needs updated Could be really great. I couldn't get my tv to work.

A tiny bit musty however it was clean. Our room came with an additional conference room, which was strange but kind've cool. If I was on a business trip that would definitely be ideal for getting work done. Loved the bathroom, very gorgeous European style.

This hotel is an okay place to stay if you have to be in Exeter, but really it's not great. Everything's chipped & worn & the bathroom, which had a nice modern remodel, was dirty & in disrepair with broken tiles & moldy grout (the room itself was otherwise clean). So much so, in fact, that we actually didn't shower... More

This was a charming stay. It is well maintained for an older building. There was so much character in the hotel that chain hotels do not offer. The staff was helpful. Cindy was great. She helped us plan part of our trip and shared so much about lighthouses in the area. Epoch Restaurant is a great place to dine and... More
