Charming inn from olden days...not fancy anything. Small room, nice fire, reasonable, with network of cross country ski trails out back. Fun basement bar with darts etc. lots of return travelers, good for families with games etc. Great location near Cannon, and little restaurants in Franconia.

We visited the Franconia Inn 21 years ago on a ski trip to Cannon Mountain and decided to try it again this year for a birthday celebration. It hasn't changed! It provides welcoming staff, clean, comfortable, updated rooms and great common spaces in which to relax. We played table tennis and darts in the game room/pub. Had dinner in the...

Nice relaxing place. Comfy couch in front of fireplace, bar/gameroom available. Lots of space to hang out. Formal dining and pub dining. Room was old (steam radiators) but bed was new and comfortable. Lots of activities (ice skating, sleigh rides, cross country skiing, very convenient to Cannon Mtn), more to do in summer. Nice and quiet. Lost "score points" due...

We chose to stay here in August 2016 after reading many reviews that the food, accomodations, and staff were wonderful. It is really a good location to base out of if you wish to hike the Franconia Notch area because the breakfasts are ample and it beats leaving the property to search for a restaurant. We also enjoyed dinner in...

Stayed here while visiting the ice castles. Was a nice place with a bar and game room located downstairs. Staff was friendly. My only complaint was of the pipe in our room it woke us up during the night twice making noise.

This has the best food in Franconia. The lodging is old school and nice. This is an old New Hampshire Inn with old fashioned ambience. No TVs-- which I loved-- all the wifi you want. Very good value. Breakfast, lunch and dinner served. Coffee and tea available all day. I will go back

We had a great time at this inn. Our room was comfortable, but, of course, old and quirky. The bathroom door didn't completely close despite signs to be sure and close it. The staff was attentive, and the inn had so much to offer. We had to carry suitcases up three floors because there is no elevator, and the rooms...

My wife and I spent 3 nights here in late October and had a great time. The hotel is a lovely mix of being both classy and really relaxed. The food was always of an excellent standard, particularly the breakfast which was the best of our trip. The staff were always freindly and there whenever we needed them. Great room,...

Stopped here on the way through to Bretton Woods. Attractive public rooms and a very pleasant lunch with amusing and attentive staff. Watched the gliders take off across the road. Peaceful and relaxing area

We stayed here for 4 nights early in October. The inn has a relaxing feel. Our room was comfortable but, certainly, in need of some modernisation. The staff were generally welcoming and helpful in all parts of the hotel. Breakfasts were very good and the dining room was a nice place to start the day. We ate in the bar...
