Another very nice visit at Ames Farm. Cabins are right on the water, the sunrises are second to none. As I've said before a bit of heaven here at this place. We have yet to make it when the restaurant is open, maybe some day we'll get to try it. Great place for a family vacation plenty to do in... More

I have never stayed at the Ames Farm Resort, but I have frequently eaten at the restaurant. In my opinion, Ames Farm has one of the best breakfasts on the Lake, and is accessible by boat. It's quaint interior is filled with old pictures of the resort, and is comfortably laid out, so as not to crowd you in to... More

We did not stay at the Ames we have a camp on Winnisquam, but decided to drive over for breakfast. There was eight of us and they could accommodate us right away. The waitress was nice, but the food was not good!!! Not one person at our table enjoyed their very overpriced breakfast!!! The french toast was tasteless, the bacon... More

This is an Inn that has been around for over 100 years, and my family has been going there for four generations now. It's the type of place that people tend to go back to during the same weeks, every year, so we have made some very good friends over the years, this way. They have one and two bedroom... More

My husband and I enjoyed the weekend here with our two young boys. I grew up vacationing at Lake Winnepesaukee, throw back small cottage style. This was our first time here, and I cannot say enough about this place! The cottage had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The view simply cannot be beat. We had a... More

I've been staying at the Ames' each summer for the past 42 years! A cabin on the lake is a must! Nothing like drinking my coffee and gazing at the lake first thing in the morning. The cabins are being refurbished. This year we lived the wonderful new beds.

As a travel agent I have been to many hotels worldwide. We just returned from Punta Cana and headed to Ames Farm Inn to spend time with my husband's family. I don't think I have ever been ever more relaxed! After a hectic week of vacation we desperately needed another one and Ames Farm Inn was perfect. My inlaws rented... More

“I doubt any of the rooms in the "Annex" are better than the one we stayed in. If you want to be on the Lake, try to stay at the Greystone Inn instead. It is on a much quieter road and as I recall from past visits their rooms/bathrooms were clean.”
