My daughters, grandson and I had planned a weekend in Hampton Beach. We were so excited to find a hotel right across the street from the ocean. Location is absolutely perfect. That is where the good news ends. The front desk person was incredibly rude and condescending. That was after a 30 minute wait for someone to come to the front desk to check us in. The room and bathroom were disgusting. In fact, the entire hotel was just so dirty. Absolutely NOTHING like the pictures on the website. And there was no heat! It was in the low 40's outside rainy and windy. The person from the front desk wouldn't refund our money. Botton line, don't waste your time or money with this hotel. There are so many other hotels in the area.

The Moulton has one thing going for it. LOCATION and that's it. It's a small Motel (I cannot call this a Hotel). We went for Hampton Seafood Festival so it is a prime location within the Seafood festival. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. The room and bathroom was very small and cramped and the balcony was also. The room was adequate though. First night couldn't figure out the TV and when we asked the person covering the front desk we had a language gap the she could not understand us. So that was a bit frustrating so had to wait till the morning. We had to put the microwave on the floor to plug in as it would not reach the plug. Both were rectified the following morning when we got help for both. It took 15 minutes to get warm water in the shower or sink and the front desk person looked at us like that was a normal thing. I seriously looked at her and asked if she was kidding. The WIFI only worked near the sliding door in the room going out to the balcony. Now the beds..... JUST COMPLETELY AWFUL. So uncomfortable. I love my wife but we were crammed together in the middle of the bed because the supports and frame had broken in the middle. This was on both beds in the room. I ended up taking the beds apart in the middle of the night and trying to fix them but still terrible. I found half eaten food, crumbs and very dirty under the beds. They need to be replaced. I informed the front desk of this and they did nothing during our long weekend stay about the beds. The only thing we enjoyed about our stay was Location and the Seafood Festival. This could be a great small Hotel but needs a lot of work. But in it's current condition I would never recommend staying here.

Booked through Travelocity, but Mouton called me, said they had trouble getting credit card information from hotels.com…not Travelocity. Without thinking I gave card information to them. At hotel they had my number written down, but wanted my card. I refused. Wouldn’t stay because room way to small, as was bathroom. Their free parking was the municipal lot, an eight minute walk away. When I refused to pay owner called me a racist. As soon as I left I checked my credit card company. They had charged my card. Or course I immediately disputed it.

When I booked this room I was tole first floor room, ample parking. The Hotel is above a store, so first floor means upstairs. Ample parking meant a parking lot 4 blocks away. Directions for the parking lot were confusing and tried to take us down a one way street, the wrong way! Once we found the parking, it was difficult to find the hotel because we drove around so much trying to get to the parking lot. The hotel is a little shabby but the room was clean and so were the linens. Staff was as helpful as they could be. It is one thing to give directions to someone familiar with the area, but someone who has never been there could very easily be confused. GPS does not take you to the exact location.

After reading all the reviews for this place I was nervous, but I have to say, I had an amazing view, they provided a cot at no cost , we had 5 , room was basically clean , one bed was more comfy than the other, bathroom was small, however my family and I had an awesome beachfront stay in a comfortable room , awesome service, they have cereal milk coffee in morning which was great, my balcony was small but we fit 3 out there, and there was a huge front porch of hotel, which was basically just us every night , so for under 1000 we had a group of 5 stay beachfront for a long weekend!! , if u want fancy stay at the ashmont and pay more, for the price I was satisfied, felt safe , and room was acceptable , I will def b back

We stayed one night for the road race. The hotel is what it is, basic, but with great views and location. The bed is comfortable and the room was clean, complete with chocolates. Bathroom is VERY small. Parking lot was full, so we had to pay at end lot. Jose was absolutely excellent to deal with. So helpful and kind.

PLEASE Stay AWAY from this run down hotel! I got there and the room was completely dirty and disgusting. I requested a different room and that one was in the same condition was the first one DIRTY!. We had no choice but to stay because they charge our credit card $564.62 for 2 nights. They don’t have parking onsite we had to walk a block away to park the car and their Continental breakfast it’s horrible.
