This is the worst place you could stay in Hampton Beach. I really urge you to look elsewhere. The service is absolutely abysmal. I was supposed to stay here in June, but ended up having to leave the country instead because I had a death in the family. I tried to cancel only to be called a liar - that is, when there was actually somebody answering the phone, which more often than not, there wasn't. When I got back from the funeral, I drove up to this motel (I don't live nearby) with documentation that included my boarding passes and a death certficate that I had translated into English. The people running this motel did not care and we did not receive ANY of our money back, even though I changed my travel plans days before we were supposed to check in and there was plenty of time to rebook if they had tried. Owner was completely unreachable the whole time. I highly recommend to book a place somewhere where you'll be treated like a human being if life happens to get in the way, which is basically unpredictable. The people working here have no compassion and have no business working in hospitality. This was a family emergency and a completely unforeseen circumstance, and it was very difficult to have to deal with the stress of being cheated like this while I was already grieving. There are plenty of people out there who rent places on the beach out and are more understanding, rather than stooping this low for several hundred unearned bucks. Please find those people and give them your business; I've never experienced such poor customer service in my life or had to look so hard for a shred of human decency.

The Hotel is older but the rooms are well kept and VERY CLEAN again not the Ritz but a great old school place with a friendly staff, the Manager Shawn is very accommodating and a great guy. The New Pool is amazing and having it on the roof deck is great so you can see the ocean and feel the ocean breeze. I have stayed here numerous times and have met plenty of other people that are regular guests, so if you are looking for a great quite location away from the hustle & bustle with comfy beds, clean rooms, new pool and great staff then I highly recommend staying here.

Nikki Boggs Stayed at the Hampton Harbor with a friend on Monday June 7th. Last minute decision to stay. Check in went smooth. During the night my friend and I were unloading our cooler out of the car and spilt a jar of salsa in the parking lot. It was right outside my car. We did not clean it up, which was uncool of us. (We picked up the glass but did not wash away the salsa). In fact my friend actually cut her finger fairly badly in an attempt to clean it. we should have finished cleaning it and/or told a staff member about it but we did not. We left immediately the next morning. Over a week later my credit card was charged $250 (for one night it was supposed to be $150) When I called to dispute the charge the receptionist told me we had puked all over the room and the parking lot and it was a $100 cleaning charge. I told him that it was salsa and I was sorry, I just didn’t agree with an extra $100 to spray the parking lot. He told me he would send me pictures of the vomit that was apparently all over the room. Still have not receive the pictures. When I called to follow up about the pictures he told me he was too busy and would call me back. I still have not gotten a call back. I agree with an additional cleaning charge for creating excess mess but I felt this was unfair. Would not trust this establishment with my credit card information again.

My wife and I wanted a quick two day get away at Hampton Beach and couldn't find anything besides this place. After reading all the bad reviews we decided to check it out ourselves seeing we are simple people. Well the bad reviews were right. The place is VERY grungy and outdated. On arrival we seen that the parking areas were very small, so if you have a large truck or SUV, you'll have to park on the outside of the overhangs. We then made our way to our room and noticed how disgustingly dirty and run down the outside of this place was. As we went into our room we've noticed it was very outdated but at least it was clean. We check under the mattresses to make sure there were no bed bugs. The beds were comfy and clean, but the bed frame for some reason is metal so when you get in it it makes a clunking noise. The bathroom is VERY small and the bathroom sink is actually on the outside in the sleeping area. The windows were gross but the A/C unit was clean. We booked for Thursday and Friday seeing it was cheaper, $209 for two nights, but our friends booked for Friday and Saturday and was charged double that. Their website says upper deck pool but the pool was empty and locked. We asked if we could at least sit up on the upper deck and they said they're not ready for that because of the corona virus even though every other motel and hotel in the areas had their pols open. The outside deck is nothing special as you will be looking at a dirty run down building all day as well as your neighbors, some of which might be a bit strange. The place is located about half mile from Bernie's, and a little more than a half mile from Sea Ketch and the seashell stage. It is right across the street from Charlie's Tap House which has karaoke. All in all we were glad the room was at least clean but very unhappy with the outside and the pool not being open. We'll skip this place and pay the extra money for something much nicer with a private deck. but if your looking for something grungy with no privacy then this is the place for you. I guess the old saying is tru, you get what you paid for.

I got ripped off by booking.com and they charged me 140 dollars for a Flop House. No screens on windows, no hot water in shower, Teenager on top floor screaming until 01AM. Bed sank so far in the middle that was on top of my partner all noc. Left at 4AM and no WAKE UP CALL as promised. Motel 6 is a 100% better choice then this place. At least they try to keep it clean and beds aren't broken. I feel I should get my money back, but that's OK. Will never us hotels.com again to book anything after this most horrible hotel experience of my life!!!!!!

This is a good place to stay in Hampton Beach, close enough to the beach & to the attractions/boardwalk such that they are a short walk away; far enough such that you can have a quiet, tranquil night's sleep. The owner, Shaun, is available & accommodating! The rooftop pool is a plus :)

Was there a week ago with a couple of buddies. Nothing fancy but we were really only there to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Already making plans for next year! Some people complain it's a party place. Guilty! Work hard play hard

The motel was great, everything was clean. The bathroom had a shower/tub and toilet. The sink was outside next to the refrigerator/microwave/coffee maker which was fine for me. Everything was clean and great. Parking onsite and walk to the beach just two blocks and you are on the boardwalk. We parked and walked to the beach and restaurants' that were nearby. We got there early and were able to check in. The motel is near everything, fishing, restaurants. The rooftop pool was under construction and could not be used, but it was early in the season and still a little chilly for swimming. All in all a great place to stay.

Hampton Harbor Motel is a very clean property. The rooms are equipped with cable TV, microwave, refrigerator, hair dryer and free wifi. Very comfortable bed. We have stayed at this place twice and will stay again. Table and chairs on deck outside of the room is a nice touch. Very nice for sipping your morning coffee while taking in the smell of the sea air. Management is extremely friendly and accommodating. Fantastic price

This hotel was good at first. Clean and comfy bedding. However, people upstairs came home late and were up all night first yelling, stomping, and playing the tv too loudly. Then at three in the morning giving my 12 year old an education with their vulgar noises. Never again will I stay here due to no separation between rooms. We had to be up and out early and these people ruined our sleep. This place needs to invest in some sound proofing!
