Wonderful Inn and restaurant! The atmosphere is congenial, and so is the staff. A fresh, clean aroma when you enter the inn, as well as 24 hour coffee/tea service in the lobby and free continental breakfast in the lounge. Hampton Beach just a short distance down the road.

I enjoyed my stay at Lamie's so much. Everyone was the so kind and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious and I especially like that it's not too big a place and I felt safe as a woman traveling solo. All inside entrances and a comfortable lobby with coffee and tea available 24/7. Loved that! Continental breakfast included. Conveniently side by side with Old Salt Restaurant that served an exceptional Sunday brunch with traditional restaurant or bar seating. Can't wait to go back!

Excellent hotel in an historic building. The rooms, while not large, were quiet, well appointed and spotless. The dining room downstairs is excellent with lots of seafood on the menu. You can also eat at the bar across the hall--same menu. Both the hotel and the restaurant are extremely popular so make reservations in advance. There is no lift, so if that is a concern, say so. Great place. We will return.

Stopped in for brunch, and was blown away with the extensive selection of both hot and cold items. Every breakfast item you could think of, plus hot lunch selections, fresh fruit, and a great pastry assortment. We didn't have a reservation, so there was ample seating in the bar - both high top tables, and regular seating. Enjoyed a Bloody Mary, and that was wonderful. Will definitely go back!

An outstanding and memorable Thanksgiving weekend. BUT reserve dinner and room in advance - excellence does draw the crowds. Book directly with the Inn and they take care of all access information. Room was quiet and spotless, beds were comfortable, towels and cleanliness were as excellent as home but with that lack of effort appreciated. Continental breakfast included. Hampton is on Lafayette Road has everything a traveler needs from supermarkets to pharmacies. Dozens of antique shops and a a short drive (15 minutes) to the ocean directly from the Inn off High Street to Ocean Boulevard. . Truly just as perfect as one could hope for.

My wife and I spent a night here - the first New England stop on a couple of weeks road trip. What a great choice! Other than a slightly frustrating effort to park and find the main entrance, this was wonderful. The Inn was built in 1740 /(I think the oldest in the area) and retains a great deal of the old-world charm. The room was furnished appropriately, but offered USB, WiFi , modern bathrooms and other creature comforts. We were warmly greeted easily found our room and enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was fairly typical, but the setting in the tavern portion of the Old Salt was very pleasant and added to our enjoyment. I can't recommend this highly enough for anyone who shares our love for "antiques" - Lamie's was EXCELLENT!

I had a wonderful experience at this charming inn. I was upgraded to a canopy bedroom which was very quiet and beautifully decorated. The people at the front desk were very helpful and attentive to all of my needs and questions. The tavern was phenomenal . The service was great the food was better and the beer was wonderful and cold!

We stayed here our 1st night in the US; had a great stay and excellent food. We decided to stay here our last 2 nights. There was a mix up with booking.com (unresolved) so we ended up in a room that was sadly noisy. I emailed them in the early hours of the morning and received a reply from Bob to say we'd been moved for our 2nd night. Wow! We checked in at reception in the morning; Maureen knew all about the issues and was simply awesome. She told us to leave our stuff and housekeeping would move it all. When we came back, she said our room wasn't ready; then she took the trouble to come and see us in the bar to say it was all set. Room 57 is awesome! Such a huge relief when we have a red eye flight tomorrow night! So, a huge thank you to Bob and Maureen for caring and working hard to ensure a truly great stay. You are truly lovely people. X
