We stayed here one night en route to Manchester, NH and though the hotel seemed a little dated, it was a clean and comfortable night. The room was clean which is a big thing for me, because alot of budget hotels seemed to not be very clean. The room floor does squeak when you walk and the bed was just as squeaky. The Indian gentleman at the desk that checked us in was very personable, others not so much. Our friends had another room and enjoyed it as well.

PLEASE NEVER STAY HERE - I am not joking! We booked with them 2 weeks in advance from Booking.com and cancelled our reservation within 24 hours of booking due to a family emergency. When I called to cancel our reservation, a member of their staff thankfully cancelled our reservation without penalties. However, the day of our cancelled stay - we get charged for our room, despite the room being verified that it was CANCELLED on Booking.com. We called continuously for 6 days straight to figure this out and each time we called, we were told that the manager has just "stepped out." We called Booking.com to verify on their end that it was cancelled and it is (obviously) - but apparently the Hampton Falls Inn changed our reservation in their system to a "no show." This would allow them to collect our payment, despite it being cancelled on Booking.com. This is FRAUD - and we are reporting them. This isn't a miscommunication, this is stealing money from people who cancelled their reservation, and we have been trying for 6 days to sort it out. Also, read the other reviews, EVERYONE is saying to not stay here, myself included and I didn't even make it there.

Nice hotel. Clean rooms, right off US 1, walking distance to a bar in the evening and a breakfast spot the next morning. Staff at check in was really nice and helpful, and had his chocolate lab to greet visitors too.

At first glance, as you approach the hotel from the outside, Hampton Falls Inn appears to be a modern, updated hotel. However, the outside appearance is deceiving. Inside, the front lobby is rather bland and unappealing, a front desk counter, a somewhat modern flat screen tv on the back wall facing the counter, and a few sitting chairs. Inside the main hallway, the wallpaper is outdated, and a musty, damp, uninviting odor fills the air. Inside room 117, the first thing I notice is the closet space, a rather unnecessarily large space with a rack, a few hangers, and no doors. To the left was a typical basic, unimpressive, hotel bathroom. In the main hotel room area, there was a small couch, a bed with decent sheets, a lamp on a night stand next to the bed, and a small, old tv sitting on a dresser facing the bed and couch. On the other side of the bed was a sliding door which, to my surprise, opened up to a small balcony. However, I wasn't really impressed because of the noise from all the passing cars The small couch was, to me, disgusting. It had a torn cushion, and there were visible stains. I had no interest on sitting on this couch. My biggest disappointment with the room was the tv. While staying at any hotel, I simply want to sit and relax while watching a movie. But this TV was old and small. I turned on the tv, and the picture was dark, and it was much smaller than the screen size. This tv maybe had a 25" screen and the actual image was perhaps no larger than 15." I booked and paid for two nights, but decided not to stay for more than one. Given that the smell of the room was unpleasant, and I simply would not be able to enjoy watching tv on that small tv while sitting on a disgusting couch, I asked the hotel to cancel and issue a refund for the 2nd night. Surprise, surprise, they refused. Rather than stay for even one night, I simply abandoned the room and went to another hotel. A complete waist of $248.76. My strong advice to anyone planning on staying here, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE. They will not give you a refund for any reason. More importantly, INSIST ON VIEWING THE ROOM PRIOR TO CHECKING IN. Oh, wear a mask, not for covid, but for the smell. To me, the Hampton Falls Inn is a complete waist of money, unless you don't mind the smell, and don't mind watching outdated, small tv sets. Personally, if I can't enjoy my time at a hotel, its worth spending extra money for a better quality hotel somewhere else. Hampton Falls Inn is NOT A QUALITY HOTEL. In my book, NOT even a decent hotel. Thank you.

My experience was from July. I was so busy arguing via email with the hotel I never even left a review. I'm hoping things have improved since then but looking at other comments it does not seem like it has. Our room cost $285.39 for a weekend night in July. The hotel was old and dingy & the front desk staff was not helpful. Our room smelled like mold and was grimy. I didn't want to take my shoes off , never mind stay in that bed. We were on the 1st floor with a slider for the porch with no safety bar. There were guys drinking out in the parking lot at night. I ended up leaving & driving home at midnight because of the mold smell & I didn't feel safe. The front desk staff didn't care. I stayed a total of 5 hours from when I checked in to when I left. They would not issue any kind of refund, even a partial one, nevermind give an apology. I would not recommend anyone doing business here & giving them your hard earned money.

We recently married and were on a road trip through new hampshire and maine! We just drove and said we will find a place to stay once we got driving for a while. Well about 8 we thought we would stop and find a place. Well we were right on hampton beach and there was no vacancies anywhere!!! Finally we called this place and the woman that answered was super sweet. We explained we were on our honeymoon and needed a place for 2 nights. She said she had a room for us to stay and the price was decent. When we arrived we were greeted by that very same lady ( who's name I keep spacing) she was happy for us and talked about some things around town ( such as a really good breakfast place legit right next door!) We went to our room ro find it was a king suite!!!! It was absolutely beautiful!! The king bed was to die for and the room was super clean! We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely be taking a trip to this gem next year for our one year anniversary ❤

I wish I had checked out the many negative reviews before booking a night at this hotel. The staff seemed annoyed when checking us in since he was watching a movie on his phone. The non-smoking room reeked of smoke, which penetrated our clothes and things. The room was dirty. The breakfast was outright terrible. Why advertise free breakfast, when it is nothing by stale coffee and some extremely low grade pastries. Avoid this place at all cost!

We booked a room here via Priceline for one night for a youth soccer tournament. It was quite pricey due to it being a holiday weekend. When we arrived, and were waiting to check in, we witnessed the front desk clerk addressing customers in a very aggressive manner. She began having an argument with a customer over the phone, yelling at them and eventually pulled out an air horn and blew it into the phone while arguing with the customer. At that point we decided to leave and stay elsewhere.
